Recruiting for a new project

Dear friends,

I am currently recruiting a team for an idea in the conflict resolution space that I will pitch on Tuesday to a group of investors to acquire some seed funding.

I was planning to go in solo and build out a team later, but I just received an email from a University’s director who want give the platform its first users asap. I expect further interest of high-profile institutions in the space soon.

I’m looking to deliver a rough prototype in August.
At this point, I’d love to hear from these folks:

  • UX/UI designers/developers
  • Frontend/backend/full-stack developers
  • Haskell/Plutus/Cardano developers
  • Project/product managers
  • Practicing mediators
  • Executives of dispute resolution organizations

Think of this as an ambitious hackathon project (one that’s actually going to be used) that has the potential to turn into a full-time opportunity under a newly formed corporation (hooray for equity). So if anything sounds interesting to you at all, please reach out to me. Let me know your tentative availability, your level of involvement (few hours a week, part-time, full-time), and if you feel comfortable, give me an idea of any form of compensation you’d require.

We'll have our second info session on Sunday at 9:30 am Pacific Time via Zoom.

Much appreciated.

P.S. This has nothing to do with Yomi.ai, which continues at its current pace.

    Hi Mattias,

I currently work at a Financial tech startup and am looking to get involved in a side project. My areas of strength are in sales, project management & business strategy. If these align with the skillsets you are looking for, I'd love to get in touch and see if there's an opportunity for collaboration.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Rachel

      Hi Rachel,

How are your sales skills when it comes to academia?

        Hi Mattias,

My sales experience mostly comes from the financial tech sector and my current role comprises of speaking to c-suites regularly. However, I do have contacts who have worked in the Ed-tech sector (e.g. former Top Hat employees). Who would your target market be? Let me know if you're interested in hopping on a call.

        Thanks,

        Rachel

Hi, not sure if you're still looking for someone, but I do have over 3 years of professional experience in software development(specifically backend). I've worked on some pretty scalable projects over the years. Email is elijahahianyo@gmail.com

What's your experience with developing with Plutus or Haskell?

Sounds interesting to me. Please let me know if you are still looking forward to a team to work with. Let's connect.

We're not particularly looking for a whole team to work with, as we're the specialists in the field. But we are open to further collaboration, primarily with individuals.

Hi Matthias, how did your pitch go?

Sounds like an interesting project you have here!

It went very well. We made it through all the rounds and will have a call tomorrow to get over the finer details to receive the funding.
