Reddit Beauty - Beauty and Skincare Insights from Reddit
Hi there! I wanted to share the project that my partner and I have been working on. It is called Reddit Beauty (https://redditbeauty.com/) - edit: now https://www.thoroughbeauty.com/
We work on aggregating and analyzing the sea of beauty / skincare content from Reddit.
We take an iterative approach to building our platform. We are constantly refining our analysis approach by using different LLM models, human verification checks, etc. The idea is to provide people who visit our site with insights from Reddit that are actually useful.
Currently a lot of the focus is on generating rankings of products in different categories (e.g. best sunscreens on Reddit by upvotes).
Any feedback welcomed!
What about changing the landing to show a slideshow of high valued products instead of "Thoroughly Analysed", and this becomes a new category as the ones you have below?
Also might be a dumb comment, but no way to capture emails/create accounts/have users/etc. loosing leads there? In exchange for a newsletter or something like that? You already have the content
I assume amazon redirection is the cheapest validation thing, but eventually, managing the sale with other sellers, might be the highest revenue move
