Redesigned my landing page. Do you understand the value prop?

Hi IH!

Pivoted my idea a while back so decided to give my landing page a re-work. I'm looking for some fresh pairs of eyes to give some honest critiques.

Things I'm particularly curious about:

  1. Is the value prop clear?
  2. Is the problem statement clear?
  3. Is the CTA compelling?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I like the copy. I believe the value proposition is very clear.

But there's a lot of similar tools, and the page as a whole doesn't look very credible.

To get the credibility that would convince someone to give it a try, you'll definitely need:

    • testimonials
    • legal coverage
    • users (or github stars)

    I'd also consider going opensource.

Thanks for your feedback! Do you mind telling me some of the tools that comes to your mind when you saw my landing page?

I'm also curious as to why you suggested going opensource. Is it related to being credible?

Yes. Open source gives more credibility and trust. It also gives you a distribution channel.

Closed source products are a black box, and people usually fear you'll go out of business and they'll lose their data.

In terms of similar tools (I know they're somewhat different), check out plausible (open-source) or splitbee.

Without much fuzz, here's the feedback!

    1. Yes, I would reword the H1 to "Convert your most promising website visitors into customers." Also, I am a little worried about privacy, but I think you thought of that already, so write a section on it!
    2. Maybe go a little more into what problem you are solving and how it's better from traditional analytics and tools like Hotjar.
    3. I would reword this to "Start converting your (most promising) visitors to customers today."

    Now on to the landing page itself;

    1. I think you should include navigation; now there's this empty space. In the navigation, you could also have the CTA.
    2. Export the logo as an SVG; it's currently a little low res on my MacBook.
    3. How about making the button font-weight bold?
    4. The sign-up page looks odd with the centered and non-centered text.

If you have any questions, let me know. Also, feel free to reach out to me for more feedback. Contact info is on my profile. 🚀

Appreciate your detailed feedback! Hope you don't mind me digging deeper:

      1. Which specific part about privacy are you concerned of? Is it GDPR, or something else?
      2. From your perspective, what do you see in this tool that's different/better from Hotjar?
      3. Do you see more value in "converting visitors to customers", or "generating leads from promising visitors"?

I agree with your landing page design feedback. Will implement those.
      Thanks!

        I don't mind at all!

        1. GDPR wasn't the first thing that crossed my mind, but more from the users' (potentials) perspective, how is their privacy protected? It would help to include a section about privacy on the page to reassure potential customers that their users won't riot about their privacy if they start using your tool.
        2. I haven't used your tool, but based on the landing page, I would say the chat combined with the analytics. Hotjar is a heat mapping tool to follow user behavior where this tool seems to try and convert people.
        3. "converting to customers" makes me more excited than "generating leads."

        Best of luck! 💪🏼
