Redesigning Email by adding Intelligence
Hey Hackers,
We are working on an idea on redesigning the Email interface.
Our goal - Make email reading more efficient and less annoying.
We call it - Glance - https://www.glance.email.
At a high level we are thinking of:
- A Visual Chart of Open Emails (by mail length, sender, group etc)
- AI-generated Previews ( current emails shows only the first few lines as Preview)
- Voice Read out of mails in Sender's Voice (better use of deep fake)
- Inbox-Zero Pane. (buttons for Delegate, Defer & Do)
- Any other ideas that the community seems fit.

I plan to have a voice sample recorded and use same tech of Deep fake audio to read out the mail.

Yes. You are right. This feature need both the sender and receiver to be using our email service.
In general, we think email's capability can be increased a lot by adding new features to the existing standards using newer technologies. We start with the features and I hope and believe that these will become standards in the near future.
One question to you if I may... would you buy this email service? :-)

Thanks. The intention was to make emails read out like a news bulletin. It will save some time in reading thru all the mails in the morning. I assumed that user would wear a headset while listening to the mails 🙂
