Refining language - 'Tap' vs 'Touch'

Sense any Touch vs Sense any Tap
I’m doing a few minor cosmetic fixes in Touchgram and one inconsistency in v1 that called out is that on the main document tree I use two phrases, depending on your touch sensor

  • Sense any Tap
  • Sense Touches

However, inside the detail editor for Sense Touches the options are listed as:

  • Touch Anywhere (the only one which maps to Sense any Tap)
  • Touch an Area
  • Tracing your touches
  • Swipe at an angle (about to be added)
  • Tickle (about to be added)

If you don’t want to install the app on your iPhone, there’s a very long walkthrough the screens in this article:

Question
Do I replace the tap on the earlier screen with Touch?, or
Do I change the editor to use Tap for Tap Anywhere and for Tap an Area?

There is a subtle difference in how touches are detected, which is why I wonder about using the term Tap:

  • Tap anywhere triggers when you tap the screen - there’s no opportunity to avoid
  • Tap an area triggers when you tap in the specific area, immediately. It’s not like buttons (button behaviour is if you touch and slide out, it shouldn’t trigger)

Thanks for any feedback, feel free to critique beyond this question!
