Hey everyone! As we wrap up the first week of my indie hacking journey, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what’s been a rollercoaster of emotions and learning.
One of the biggest wins this week was definitely launching PMHNP Hiring with over 8,295 jobs. It's a testament to the hard work put into curating a platform that meets specific needs. Seeing the site go live was a moment of pride, but it also brought immediate challenges.
A major struggle has been securing our first paying employer. Despite receiving positive feedback from job seekers, employers have been more hesitant. This week has been about learning that traction doesn't always equal revenue, and patience is key.
In parallel, development on the Gym Tracker app is in full swing. With React Native and AI integration, the project is both exciting and daunting. The waitlist continues to grow, which is motivating, but it also raises the pressure to deliver a polished product.
A significant learning from this week is the importance of community and feedback. Whether it's through Indie Hackers or direct outreach, engaging with others has provided invaluable insights that I might not have considered on my own.
As we head into the next week, I’m focused on refining outreach strategies for PMHNP Hiring and continuing development on Gym Tracker.
What has been your biggest learning in the early days of your startup journey? Any advice on handling the pressure of delivering on multiple fronts?
