To all fellow indie developers: have you ever experienced this? You spend months implementing the perfect UI and features, finally pass the review, but then... your app doesn't even show up when you search for it in the official stores.
It is incredibly difficult for indie developers to compete head-on with big companies' massive advertising budgets and ASO (App Store Optimization) battles. Driven by the desire to change the reality where excellent apps remain buried just because they lack recognition, I developed FindUpApp, a discovery engine that shines a light on niche apps.
It is a platform that solves the inconvenience of the "flat categories" in official stores by combining directory-based exploration with AI-powered summaries.
Deep Hierarchical Structure: Detailed subcategories not found in official stores help users with specific needs find your app more easily.
AI Summaries Condensed into 20 Characters: AI summarizes your app's core value into 20 characters to instantly grab a user's attention.
Dual Support for iOS & Android: You can reach users on both major platforms from a single directory.
Let’s be honest—registering for a new platform is a hassle. That’s why FindUpApp aims for the "World's Easiest Registration Experience." There is absolutely no stress of account creation or logging in, whether you are looking for an app or promoting your own.
You don't need to create yet another account just to register your app. Simply paste the URL, confirm the category, and your app will be listed in the FindUpApp directory starting today.
Paste the Store URL
Select a Country (Optional)
Click the "Register" Button
With just these steps, the system automatically collects icons, screenshots, and video information, while the AI generates a concise summary of the description.

- Establishing a community on GitHub
Some might think directories are "old school," but in an era of information overload, I believe in redefining the value of curation (organizing and selecting information). Let’s turn "I can't be found" into "I’m glad we met." I hope FindUpApp becomes the spark that helps our apps be discovered by the world.
Congratulations on your launch. It looks impressive! What channels are you exploring to attract early users?
Thank you so much! You're the first person to give me a comment and a Like here, so this really made my day!
Regarding our strategy, we're currently in Beta and focusing on feedback from the Japanese developer community. I’ve also just started exploring Reddit on my own to see how it works for niche app discovery.
Our next big milestone is the Product Hunt launch to reach a broader audience. I want to make sure the core experience is solid before scaling up our marketing efforts. Thanks again for the support!
That's fantastic! Congratulations on reaching the beta stage. It's a significant milestone. Prioritizing feedback at this point is a smart move, especially before launching on Product Hunt. Reddit can be quite helpful during this phase for targeted feedback, particularly from communities focused on developers, as long as the approach is centered around discussion. If you ever want to brainstorm ideas or discuss how Reddit can fit into your launch strategy, I'm more than happy to share what I’ve learned about what works.
Update: We are live on Product Hunt!
Just wanted to share that FindUpApp has officially launched on Product Hunt today.
We are still in Beta, but I've been busy refining the AI summaries and UI to get it ready for this launch. If you have a moment, I'd love to hear your feedback on our PH page!
