Relationships over Readers: Day 4 of Launching a Daily Newsletter

If you're planning to start a newsletter, I've been making daily videos on my process.

I'm launching a daily newsletter this week. 2 Years ago I launched a successful weekly newsletter. 5,954 subscribers on course this year to make $20,000 in revenue.

Something I discovered in running a newsletter, the relationships are going to last longer and be more fruitful than the number of readers.

Day 4: Re Writing the Welcome Email

Some important Notes to remember when writing this email

  • You need readers to open it. No need to say "thank you".
  • Make it useful to them right away. (link to resources, archives, etc.)
  • No need to repeat the benefits if your newsletter. They signed up!
  • Ask about them, so they reply. (Who Are You?)

Today I took some advice from fellow IH'ers on what to call my community. Thanks
