Released version 1.1

I built a Pinterest automation tool because my wife was spending up to an hour making pins for a single blog post

My wife runs a journaling blog. The writing part? She loves it. The Pinterest part? Complete time sink.

Every post meant opening Canva, sizing images to 1000×1500, writing captions from scratch, picking colours that felt on-brand, uploading one by one, scheduling manually. An hour of work to promote a single post - and that's assuming she didn't get distracted halfway through and just skip it.

She was posting inconsistently on Pinterest because it simply took too long. And Pinterest rewards consistency above almost everything else.

So I built PinFreshly.

You paste your RSS feed URL. PinFreshly reads your posts, generates pin images across multiple layouts and colour palettes, writes AI copy for each one (title, headline, description, CTA), and publishes straight to Pinterest - or schedules them for later. The whole thing takes about two minutes.

What's been built so far:

  • 39 layouts across 6 themes

  • AI-written copy tailored to each post

  • Direct publish + scheduling to Pinterest (no Buffer, no Tailwind needed)

  • Pinterest Approved - using their official production API

  • Free plan: 50 pins/month, no credit card

Here's a 2-minute demo if you want to see it in action: 👉 https://www.youtube.com/@Pinfreshly

And the product: https://pinfreshly.com

Still early days - would love feedback from anyone who blogs or knows the Pinterest/content creator space. What would make this a no-brainer for you?

What stood out to me is that you didn't automate Pinterest—you automated the part creators consistently avoid.

The interesting challenge now isn't generating more pins. It's making users feel confident enough to hand over a channel that's usually tied closely to their brand. If they trust the output without feeling the need to edit everything, that's when the real time savings begin.
