Reliable residential proxies
Hey, everyone! I know this has been asked a lot before.
Im looking for some trustworthy residential proxy services?
I have checked luminati.io but they seem a bit slower than i expected. How about oxylabs.io or some other services?
I've tried https://intoli.com/ and they are also slow, it's a simpler service than luminati (Luminati proxy manager is awesome), but it's also cheaper, the downside is that it's also super slow.
The main issue with Luminati is the $500 minimum monthly commitment.
I suppose that being slow is normal in residential proxies? I'm not convinced at all about using residential proxies, I don't see any real advantage in real scenarios.
Well, i guess its main choice then, between speed and price. And took some trial versions from other providers (thats why was asking about oxylabs.io ), and their residential seems kind of fast.
Basically, you need residential if you are going for bigger pages, who has already made a list of data center proxies, so they block them or give you a lot of captchas. So the whole process is way slower. Residential proxies help you to avoid them.
I mean, some companies who offer you "premium residential proxies", as they pay people to leave there pcs on, so it would be always available. But cant really imagine scenario where you would need THAT clean of proxy. Unless its something specifically hacking related, i guess 🤔
You could also maybe checkout BHW marketplace. I saw there are a lot of services selling what you need.
Could you tell us what speeds you're getting? Just curious what your expectations and needs are because I'm launching a similar service soon.
With Luminati? Average response time is around 9s, which seems way slower, compared to industry average, as much as i have checked.
