Remote Junior Workers, would love to hear from you!

Hey IndieHackers, I’m working on solving the problem of connecting talented students and graduates with the growing world of remote work via tech and non-tech roles. I’m currently growing a FB community of uni students and recent grads - there’s 858 of us in the group!

One part of the problem is that many students/recent graduates don’t know what they would like to do and would like to hear from people in positions they may potentially go into.

It would be great to hear from people in REMOTE JUNIOR POSITIONS in: product management, marketing, design/UX, software engineering, operations, sales, people operations etc and set up short virtual office hours via Zoom in which you would talk about what your role entails/expectations and Q and A. It’d be a great way to share your story and pay it forward to young people who are about to delve into their first remote junior role.

Let me know if you'd like to be involved! Thank you :)

Hey, we are about to launch a remote job site which connects talent with the remote jobs. This is something similar - I thought of sharing with you all. Please feel free to visit remoteworkjar.com, surely will the community!!!

I really like the idea. Would love to help somehow, but I didn't graduate.Haha. I dropped out of uni in order to create products, and work for different clients, but I really love the initiative. Best of luck!!!

I'm currently living in Thailand! I worked at a startup on contract for a short while. Now I'm looking for a new job / working on a side project. I started out as a developer last year and been in love with building things from scratch ever since.

That sounds amazing @Wcisco! Would you be interested in doing a Q& A for remote junior software developers. It'd give you a chance to share your story and help other who are about to begin!
