Remote | Sr. Full-Stack Developer | Funnel Rolodex

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer that can serve as a pillar for our development team and lead by example. Our technical team values code as a craft; we believe in delivering small features and weekly iterations with mindfulness around testing and documentation. We are looking for an individual who has experience grooming project stories. The ideal candidate will enjoy taking an initial design and leading the team to create multiple stories.

You are a fit if:

You have excellent analytical and math skills, with the ability to work in teams.
Must have a minimum 5+ years of working industry experience.
Have over 5 years of experience writing javascript, specifically working with nodejs and react.
Sees the value of testing and not a time-cost.
You feel confident leading a team of developers
Have experience taking a project description and breaking it into multiple stories for the developer to build
You can identify any/all potential problems while developing the projects
Proficient in agile project management and Scrum
Communication, Communication, Communication: We are looking for a developer who understands the importance of team communication.
You have used Github or other version control systems

Bonus points if you:

Worked with Hasura / GraphQL
Capable of grooming work/stories into Small Tasks
Used Vercel for deployment
Developed and worked with GraphQL in production environments
Experience working with AWS, specifically Cognito and Lambda

Responsibilities:

Work across the platform to develop end-2-end features that include: modifying existing React/MaterialUI -components and wiring them to the GraphQL API.
Taking project descriptions and designs and breaking them into stories that the developers can build.
Collaborate with our technology director in weekly grooming sessions to write story iterations for feature development and roadmap planning.
Lead by example, opening pull requests for small modular pieces of functionality with clearly defined context/implementation details with tests when applicable.
Document everything that is meaningful to empower fellow contributors to be better and to foster a learning environment.
Manage and own your own project with a deadline
Assessment of new application ideas
-Minor website design and web updates

$40-$60/hr depending on experience
