RemoteBot - MS Teams bot for people working in hybrid environment

Hi all,
I am starting to share with the public my idea, how it started, and where I am now.

A few days ago Polish government announced new legislation laws about hybrid workers - people working sometimes from work and sometimes from home.
Till today (7.04.2023) we did not have any legislation about that. From now we need to report each day where the worker stays.
Probably in most cases, small companies will declare full remote work and just forget about the case but big companies need to cover that. I saw approaches across projects in which I am involved that:

  • some companies will try to develop their own thing for worker monitoring
  • some companies will try to find out software solutions or integration with an application that is already in use
  • some companies will force workers to sign the paper document or write emails Teams/Slack/etc

and here I am with my idea. I am trying to develop an MS Teams bot ( for now I am only focusing on that platform) which will daily ask people about where they are working and give simple solutions (probably via teams chat) for admins/managers to validate or generate proper monthly reports.

Ok, what about the clients? So, I already have 1 big global company interested. I was talking to one of the HR managers about a similar solution a few days ago. During the years of work for different clients, I have contacted multiple HR people and of course, there are still Linked in and hundreds of headhunters :)

To sum up:
Two days ago I know nothing about bot development for the Teams platform. Right now I have a working MVP product, just registered as an MS Partner program, and trying to finalize the subscription plan.
I am aiming to finish working MVP with the landing page, and subscriptions plan by end of the next week, just after Easter.
Hopefully, my kind of crazy plan will work.

Take care and have fun.

All the very best for your idea :) Also, a Discord server bot might address the same problem that you are trying to solve (probably without any subscription).

Sure. I am aiming first for MS Teams since most giant corporations and my recent clients were using it. Next, I will go with Slack probably and Discord as the latest ones.
