Removing my verified revenue from Indie Hackers

I decided it's time to pull my revenue from Indie Hackers. When I started my Indie Hacking journey I was a huge fan of the open startup initiative, and everyone sharing their revenue and metrics.

When I first started sharing my revenue on Indie Hackers it was hugely beneficial to me. As my company grew I got put on lists about fast growing startups, I'd sometimes receive acquisition interest, occasionally conferences would reach out and ask if I wanted to speak. But over the years that has dried up.

Today the only interest I get is spam emails that look like "Hey Shane, congrats on hitting $X revenue. Can I interest you in..."

The other reason I'm pulling my revenue is because the line chart is too revealing. It'd be great if we could have revenue badges $10k+, $50k+. I'd be comfortable sharing a general figure, but showing a line chart of our exact revenue is too much information that I'm willing to share with the public and my competitors.

I know this has been discussed before. I'm hoping that the revenue portion of Indie Hackers can get changed so more Indie Hackers are willing to share their revenue.
