Replacement trivia questions

I own a bunch of trivia board games. Trivial Pursuit, Articulate etc. I play them with my family occasionally. We have several issues:

  • We have effectively run out of questions, in the sense that, we've gone through the limited deck of card, multiple times, and we can almost remember some of the answers. This diminishes the experience
  • Our versions are quite old, and some of the questions are from another era, or aren't topical enough.

What about a service that sells replacement trivia questions, customized to the specific game you're playing sourced from a pool of questions? You would pay 5 dollars for 500 questions that match your game (i.e. Articulate requires questions to be either Object, Nature, Person etc. The questions would be delivered via a web/mobile app, and match the structure of your game. You could rate questions to provide feedback, and improve the experience

Would you pay for this? Do you think there would be legal issues in providing questions that match a specific games format? Thoughts on how I could test this idea?
