Request your own Twitter Community from Twitter
I don't know if this has been shared yet and it's about 2 days old BUT if you want to start a community on Twitter you can request one, they are probably flooded with requests but whoever gets on has a huge first mover advantage in audience building. On Facebook, if you have an old and established group you can make some bank off of them or at least have a handy audience.
My advice, apply for a few - personal interest, a business idea/niche market, something you actually want to learn more about, or one you think could eventually be monetized covering a deep-pockets topic.

Just a simple example - there is a group on Facebook that I belong to that is all about a niche of SEO, it has 110,000 members. The person that built it, grew it, and now runs it has total control over it. They can add admins or not, they can set the group's rules, they can break their own rules, they can push their own products and services to the exclusion of others and they can make their brand well known. The group becomes the top of their funnel while also providing something of value that just happens to be off-site from their business. Facebook freely provides the entire platform for this, you don't have to build a thing.
Even if you don't get allowed to build that first Twitter group similar to the above there will still be an opportunity for a land grab. If you want to own a niche on Facebook today it's virtually too late and too competitive. If you want a fresh crack at it still twitter is the last place you are likely to be able to do it. My advice - Pounce on this. make one for start-ups, make one for your coding stack, make one for your niche, etc. But grab with both hands.
