Results of Betalist

We recently got featured on Betalist, we was rejected before for no reason, however we cleaned up the submission by changing the description and adding new images.

That seemed to do the trick and we get featured quickly. Normally it takes a month and we went from submission to featured in a few days.

After finding out on twitter, I removed sign ups from Versoly, because most visitors from Betalist just want to test new products and I wanted to make that as easy as possible.

That was a good decision as we ended up going from the usual 5% visitor to sign up to 20%+ visitor to demo. So 4 times as many people got to see the product.

We posted on IH about it and https://www.indiehackers.com/product/versoly/featured-on-betalist--Lti55rjsOncN-LNG_YJ and got a lot of upvotes and views. I believe that might have skewed the results.

Luckily there was a similar product (https://inner-circle.io/) launched on the same day with the same upvotes so I contacted them using their chat widget and got their visitor numbers so I will share them below.

Visitors - Versoly (366), Innercircle (200)
Demos - Versoly (132)
Sign ups - Versoly (7)
Paying customers - Versoly (0)

I have heard of founders getting between 75-150 before. So my numbers seemed a little high. But it was great experience.

I’m also launching on Product Hunt if you could leave feedback that would be most appreciated

I will also be sharing them numbers with Indie Hackers
