Last weeks post https://www.indiehackers.com/post/going-hard-on-marketing-c2e8e61ed8
So we did 3 marketing strategies last week.
So the results of each one
Paid products are hard to rank well on PH, we have a few ideas on other engineering as marketing ideas we can post.
I plan on investing more time into founder bingo, I want to start doing quick interviews from successful founders with their top 3 mistakes and what they learnt.
I plan on doing outreach to get more affiliates, we want to replace WP for many websites so will reach out to those who cover WP and have covered other projects.
Want to help?
P.S. I love sharing with the community especially my mistakes as I hope you will learn without needing to make them yourself.
Out of all 3 which would you be most likely to recommend to a new SAAS business?

Gets us 1000s of pageviews a month with no work.
We have had a ton of companies copy us and we still get a lot of traffic.
I'll give it a read later when I can give it my full attention! Thank you for that, much appreciated :)
Hey Volkan, I've seen your posts on IH for a while now. I think it's very admirable how determined and persistent you are. Your product seems well-built and polished.
I'm sure you have a lot going on, but I wanted to give you a few pieces of feedback on your website that may help. In general, it's a good marketing site. However,
I think you need really boost your social proof. Right now, it looks like you just have one random customer in India, and the commentary is nice but not very enthusiastic. That doesn't boost my confidence. I want to see more testimonials, more enthusiastic customers, more success stories. This is by far the biggest weakness on your site.
Your copy focuses on "ease of use," "simplicity" and "happiness". Those are good things to have, but I think the most important thing a customer would want is success. "Versoly is the easiest and fastest way to build a successful Saas business." That's what I would want.
I think you should add more screenshots of your UI. Yes, some of it is in the video, but I want to see more. Maybe add a "Features" page where I can see how great your UI is, and that may persuade a user to sign up. Also, as a separate note, your video goes through the features way too fast – everything was a blur, and I retained very little.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

It's one of the best I've ever seen.
Easy to read and navigate, lots of images. I think if you did something like this for Versoly it would be very persuasive.
Cool ideas. The "Founder Bingo" one was particularly entertaining.
How are you currently finding founders for the founderbingo.
Hacker news, Ih, twitter
You say you want to replace WP. Search for “WordPress alternatives”, see the articles that rank on the first page of Google and contact them.
They make money through affiliate commissions, so there’s a good chance they will add Versoly to their lists, and since they already get a lot of traffic from Google every day you’ll be getting leads from day one.
Good idea.
We're also creating a page called Versoly vs Yoast.
We plan on doing that for all the big plugins as well.
Uhm are you sure about that? It will be VERY difficult to rank that page (I’d say almost impossible) because the search intent is too different (unless you plan on promoting them in other ways).
I’d focus on creating pages that target “alternative to” [Website Builder Name] keywords.
Interesting we have had a few customers ask us how we compare to yoast.
Any better way to show how well we do against it?
Why do people want to compare a website builder with a SEO plugin? 🤨
Basically they're coming from WP and want to know how good the SEO is and how it compares to WP and their plugins.
Create a page that explains why Versoly is a great choice for SEO. If you really want to try picking up some search traffic, call it "A better Yoast alternative".
Or just "Yoast alternative" because better or not is subjective opinion until confirmed by thousands of users, like Yoast is.
