Resume Forum vs Roast My Resume -- better name?
I'm building a platform for job seekers to upload their resumes to get high-quality feedback from a community of recruiters, resume writers, and career coaches.
I'm debating between two names:
Roast My Resume
or
Resume Forum
I own both dot-com domains already.
Would love to know your votes & thoughts!

Adam, you mean, in order to compensate for the name's negativity I'll need to use lots of emojis to convey playfulness and levity?
Hmm, if I have to constantly explain the name all the time (we're not mean!), seems like the wrong name to begin with.
No, I don't think I meant "in order to compensate". I don't see the name as negative at all. I meant to highlight the levity of it.

I’m feeling Roast My Resume. Be bold and direct, it’s a good name and although it has negative connotations - it clearly describes the concept.
Roast My Resume has way more sticking power and brandability. Attention is everything and you have a better chance to capture it with that brand.
I hear that Nick. It's balancing that brandability versus risking a negative connotation in the brand.
Roast My Resume has a good ring to it but personally I'd be hesitant to have someone "roast" something that's quite intimate, particularly if I've put a lot of time and work into it already.
My word associations with roasting are all quite negative and mean, immediately think of the Comedy Central show and think "damn I don't want some guy on the internet saying my work is shit".
But with some branding and tone lightening like @Primer says, then you could do something with it.
Who's your target resume audience? Established professionals or younger college grads?
It's definitely catchy though.

But seriously, if I look around at what exists, which isn't much, college students and very early professionals are the heaviest users. As well as tech types.
That's mostly based on an analysis I did of /r/resumes on Reddit, which is admittedly not a very clean analysis since Reddit users trend young and techy and male to begin with.
Since neither of these two options are ideal, what about this third option:

Here's yet another argument for Roast My Resume (pasted from one of my milestones):
After noticing in the subreddit /r/resumes that people often use the subject line Roast My Resume, I was intrigued by the possibility of this phrase as the name of the site.
So I google "roast my resume", and lo and behold, not one but two developers have independently started building similar sites and with exactly the same name.
I couldn't have asked for a better signal that there is value to this idea AND name than to discover two independent developers who not only a) had the same idea, but b) thought it good enough to start building, and c) chose the very same name that had intrigued me. Unbelievable.
RmR for the alliteration. Plus, it just sounds spicier and cooler.
Forum sounds tired.
Ha, "tired" is one way to put it. RmR does roll off the tongue, doesn't it. See my comment above for who two other totally independent developers had homed in on the very same name.

Thanks Mick. Yes, Resume Forum is formal.
I will point out there is a site called Essay Forum which has been around for years. (Similar concept: community feedback on your college application essay.)
