Hi all!
Have an idea for a product: a "job board" where we would let software devs post their profiles and have companies/startups browse profiles/fitler based on their needs (experience level, tech stack, location, etc). Came to me after talking with buddies about how we always get a bunch of LinkedIn messages from recruiters asking about jobs that aren't really relevant to our technical domain and talking with my team at my day job about the difficulties of hiring in the software space.
A few questions:
- Does the landing page effectively convey the idea (https://reversedevs.unicornplatform.page/)? Just looking for viability feedback, haven't begun building out the platform...
- Would you use this to hire software folks for your product?
- If you are a software dev, would you prefer setting up a profile when you are looking for a job as to the current system of networking/applying to jobs/getting messages from recruiters?
Thank you so much for taking a look! This is my first stab at starting up, so any and all advice is much appreciated.
