Building the Future of DIY with AI—Seeking a Technical Co-Founder for a PWA!
🚀 Hey Indie Hackers! I’m developing a Progressive Web App (PWA) powered by AI to revolutionize the DIY space—making hands-on projects smarter, more accessible, and engaging for a massive consumer market.
🔍 Looking for: A skilled web & mobile developer with PWA expertise, an AI enthusiast, and a content aggregation specialist to help bring this vision to life.
💡 Why it’s exciting:

Really cool concept — AI + DIY is a smart combo, and the PWA angle makes it even more exciting. Checked out the deck, solid vision! Wishing you the right team to bring this to life.
cool
you think adding AI on every other page of your pitch deck somehow will make your idea plausible?
Technically what you are suggesting of doing is actually possible, but if you knew what AI is and how it works, you will know that you managing to create the AI you describing it will make you billions, simply because it will be actually better than the most advanced version of ChatGPT.
But I get ahead of myself, the pitch deck is aimed at "stupid money" attempting to leverage the hype, but the core of your idea already exists, it is called YouTube and it works great, the people who can't actually use it for DIY will be incapable of using your product either, except of course if you manage the convince someone stupid enough to create a better ChatGPT and not take the billion $ pay off for their skill (believe me, anyone that good is already working for one of the big 5)
But then again, you are aiming on the API wrapper crap, that will not work, only the crypto idiots are left with that level of "stupid money" and they are only interested in crypto scams.
Another reason it wont work, tokens are expensive, you think they are not as it is a few $ per million of them but a single 10 min user interaction can cost you $5 easy, and badly written code can get you waking up on a $10k bill in a day from you 10 customers you have on a free subscription.
But, good luck, you will need a lot of it.
This sounds super exciting — love the angle of combining AI with DIY in a PWA format. The content aggregation + cross-platform accessibility piece especially caught my eye.
I have dropped you an email with some details. Pls check it out and revert!
I work with a team that helps early-stage founders build and launch products like this (AI-backed, PWA/mobile-first, often from scratch to MVP in 8–10 weeks). Would be happy to chat or share some things we've learned helping similar products scale.
Are you still exploring options for your tech partner? Would love to hear more!
Sounds like a great project! Please feel free to send me your requirements at https://www.softwebsolutions.com/contactus.html - would love to explore how I can contribute.

Hi gweisheipl ,
I came across your post about building an AI-driven DIY platform and found the vision super inspiring.
While I’m not yet experienced in AI, I’m a fast learner and deeply motivated. I’ve already started learning Flutter . I’m confident I can bring strong energy, rapid development skills, and adaptability to the table.
I am passionate and committed learner who’s excited to contribute meaningfully and grow into the AI side with guidance, I’d love to chat and see how I might be able to support your vision.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
