I completely revamped the Boei landing page based on customer research. Should have done this way earlier...
Here are my steps:
To get more paying customers, you need to double down on what has worked in the past. Paying customers is the best source of data.
I thought most people would be from the EU, but that is absolutely not the case. Boei has quite some US, India, and Mexico.
Apparently, Boei does not have a specific business type. The most common is e-commerce, but blogs, crypto exchanges, and App developers exist too.
People need to install Boei on their platform, so it is good to know what they have.
No single platform exists, but most Boei users have a WordPress site. I did most marketing for WordPress, so this could be biased.
Not a single clear winner, but it seems most people came from word of mouth. Some from a Google Ads campaign. However, that was soo expensive it didn't give a positive ROI.
All people that have installed Boei are using it to capture leads. All of them use several channels, and some even have multiple WhatsApp channels. Some of them have installed the Boei Forms (e.g. newsletter signup).
Almost everyone bought Boei during the trial period. That is awesome to know because it means I can track marketing channel ROI within 14 days.
Almost nobody bought using coupons, so apparently, that is not triggering people to buy. The onboarding emails do the trick. So I may need to improve them further.
Using previous input, I revamped the homepage to demonstrate the value people get from Boei.
This is a work in progress, but I want to make customer specific landing pages. For example, one for e-commerce sites built on WordPress.

Couldn't agree more with paying customers being the best source of data. Please, keep us posted about the results (new vs old conversion rate and so on).
Thanks! Will do :)
