Risks of mixing day job with side project
I’m starting to productize a set of processes that I have cultivated over many years for training developers at multiple big tech firms (faang).
My question is whether I can test drive this product and get feedback at my day job, or if this would open the door for my organization claiming ownership of the product.
Anyone have experience with testing a new product at their day job?
Don’t use company property, time, and equipment.
If you’re out to lunch on your personal laptop, you’re probably fine. But, check your contract. And then have an attorney check it again if you’re still unsure.
