Hey, After months of procrastination, I decide to work on what I like, and to release it as an open-source project.
It's an open-source alternative to PubNub/Pusher that allows you to create a real-time application. The main difference is in its core. It's using grpc-web,http2, and protobuf end to end.
Next step, is to have people try it and not just star it.
Cool!
I used to work at deepstreamHub. We developed deepstream.io which is an open source websocket server offering events, rpcs, data-sync and presence. deepstreamHub was the SaaS we built on top of the open source version.
The space is pretty competitive, so good luck. I'm currently using Ably.io in Portabella but Pusher/PubNub were options I also looked at. Only doing very basic subscriptions/server side events so any platform would satisfy my needs.
