Roast for a Roast!

Hi Hackers!

I posted asking for feedback last week and I have overhauled @engineeringcollective and shot a new video. I would love some feedback on version 2! I also haven't seen a roast for a roast post in a while so I decided to make one - provide feedback and leave your URL and I will leave feedback on your site!

    Not clear at all. The text is very general and vague. Workspace and tools can apply to so many things. Your text should be much more specific IMO so I understand it.

    Add a screenshot of your product at the top so I can see it immediately.

      Thanks for the feedback ! Much appreciated!

      I will work on making the copy clearer and include some screenshots upfront. The video explains a lot but I think it speaks volumes that you didn't make it that far.

      • I like the background in the header when I land on your site but find that some of the copy is hard to read as I scroll down
      • The buy me a coffee seems out of place. IMO should be below your footer.
      • Footer takes up alot of real estate - possibly put the facebook like and IG handle on the same line?
      • About and Media section are both good - the content is what I expect to see.

      • Its clear what the app does. The overall theme of the website is clean and the testimonials boost credibility
      • Some of the copy is a bit confusing (Reflect after being in touch. Relationships change. Your reminders too.). Not sure I get the last sentence.
      • Two strips of the website dedicated to downloading the app seem a bit excessive
      • Really like the FAQ section
      • I don't get the More features sections - maybe add some captions

        Thank you for the time!

        On the video. I read on the julian.com guide that most don't watch videos. And that's never a good idea to rely on them. And for me it's true. I am usually too lazy to click play.

        I will discuss it with my friend.
        The FB and IG should be on the same line. Need to check.

        Regarding my app:

        Thank you that's very useful feedback! I think I might need to put the features section elsewhere and add a why section. I have some ideas in mind.

        It's just some more screenshots from the old landing page. It's not really well placed and meaningful like this. I agree.
