Roast me? Searching your messages

Reverse the order.

You read this first - "Find those messages instantly" and have no idea. What messages?

Then you see "Search Gmail, Slack, Whatsapp, all in one place" which is smaller and the wrong color.

So start with 'Search Gmail, Slack, Whatsapp, all in one place'.

Kill the 'find those messages'. It is vague and unhelpful.

The presentation (landing page) could be improved. I struggled to understand the offering when doing the "3sec skim test"... i read a little more and now I get it, but the landing page isn't doing any favors.

"Organizing" isn't what people want... "Finding" is what they want. Getting the answer immediately. Finding that message by a simple search (i.e. searchbox). Organizing is the "what it does" and no one cares about that. They care about "what's in it for me"... that is, finding what i need in an instant! :)

This is probably not what your product is, but my initial reaction after reading the copy and seeing the text field for entering my email address was that you would have a real live person search through my mail for me. Maybe it's because the page uses "we" a lot and my immediate thought is "we" is a team of people who will manually search my email. Also, most email clients or services already have a search feature, so...

If that's what your product actually is, not interested as that would be creepy. lol But if it's some automated system that does the search (still kind of scary), maybe you should use the name of the product instead of "we"?

1. The core idea sounds interesting, the Hero section definitely caught my attention

2. If I'm going to give access to most of my messaging platforms, I would definitely need more information about the privacy policy. Is it safe? How is my data handled?

3. At this point, this sounds like a good idea but didn't make me want to subscribe. Maybe some screenshots of the prototype would raise more interest.

4. I could imagine an illustration with all the platforms being around, being very noisy, but then going through your app icon, becoming one, unified inbox.

5. At this point, I am not quite sure I would use something like that actually. I like to have my emails and IMs separated, so it's not something I would look for. Maybe you can put some work into convincing people, why it's good for them.

6. Now I realize, that I completely misunderstood your product. I thought this would be like an inbox app with a list of messages coming from all platforms, but now I realize that it's like Google for your personal data. Sort of Apple Spotlight if you used only Apple services, right? Maybe you could clarify this because if I misunderstood, maybe others will too.

Landing page white font on busy background is hard to read.

As for the message, when I read "all your inboxes" I got confused - which inboxes? I would get interested if you immediately referred to whatsup, slack, gmail, and others.

Hm, well. I think I'd like to see a privacy policy link at the bottom - if you're going to go through all my inbox data that's pretty personal. Also, I'm not understanding how adding my email will organize my inbox - clearly, that just gives you the ability to email me. So, more clarity there. Maybe a Chrome extension or such would be a better format for this, a desktop application or phone app like Mail that syncs multiple email accounts.
