Any and all feedback is most welcome! I am building the product as I write this, but ready to take in early signups. Please give me your valuable tips on how I can improve the flow/copy/design or other things you may notice that has skipped my eye.
The button framer animation is really cool! One thing i would say is the logo overlaps and almost clashes against other elements on the page when you scroll down. I'd also get a favicon set up. The highlighted word in the title could use some spacing
Boom fixed!
Thank you so much!
Love the product idea!
I roast websites for a living, so here's a Sherlock style roast for your page! ♨️♨️♨️
Solutions to above points.
2S. Follow a designs system. Quite complex for someone who's not a designer, but follow the most basics including grids, typography, colors, and buttons. That should do! Will bring in consistency in your design.
3s. Give it a thin black border.
4s. Either add a menu & scroll to page below. Or make your page a nicely designed landing page, especially the hero section where user doesn't question when they don't see a menu. Search for landing page inspiration.
8s. Add Mark's photo if you may! And make it pop! If you know what that means. Use more visuals on your page. Add reputed investors photos if you'd like, that's fine for representation. Add some trust logos too. Like clients, partners, tools, brands, awards, star ratings, etc. Testimonials will help too! If you find it difficult, just twitter or linkedin DM to some good investors & give them free access in return for a testimonial. (I wouldn't mind your testimonial on my new site once it's live! Lol) Big names will def make heads turn! Will give huge boost on signups! Ppl undermine popularity and reputation. Launch on PH too, add the logo! (oh my mind is on steroids!!!! i could go on & on with the tips!!!!)
9s. If your page is a website, keep the blog. If it's to let users join waitlist, remove any external links so they don't click away.
10s. Either make menu fixed, or add a background to it. Black maybe. Test how it looks.
11s. Give reasons to join your waitlist. Beta access, early access, early bird discount, lifetime price lock, join early & get to chat with the founders, free access, huge discount, etc.
People love "belonging" to groups. What does your tribe call themselves? For example, I would use the tagline "Join the Growth Tribe" or "Join 5000+ Growth Hackers" for a growth community. Yours can be "Join The AI Revolution" or "Get 10X Faster Insights".
12s. Remove the tagline from footer, too big. Or make it smaller. Put logo above it and then maybe place the text below it. If it doesn't go well, just keep the footer plain black with the 3 other items.
Hope you loved this feedback. Took me 2mins in Sherlock style and 7 minutes for the tips. 9 mins tops! :)
Cheers!
PS. I love Framer! Building my new "roasting" site on it! Launching soon!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Hats off to you sir! Thank you and thank you again, this is priceless! Minus the 'I am not a designer, which I did feel a tad bad about.
Here is the list of fixes I have made since,
Took me a lot longer to make the changes than what it took you to write, appreciate it more than you know!
Hahaha. Happy to hear that Akash.
Why feel bad about not being a designer. It's fine. You are talented at what you do best and me at what I do best. But you've def got the knack of learning! See you designed a page all by yourself. Which is a great start. So feel good about it!!
The black box on empowering should have padding. So it doesn't touch the text inside. Esp the left and right side.
Some of your comments don't match the pointer numbers in my comments.
I saw your updated page.
Keep up the great work. You need to perfect your design with the help of a skilled designer. You are not using a design system and hence your sections are different widths. It feels inconsistent. Your colors are inconsistent too, too many of them. Define a palette and stick to it. Not more than one primary color and two secondary colors.
I haven't made my design system in Framer live yet. But I do have an example in Figma, it's theme is "water". And hence decision decisions are based on that. Here you go: https://figma.fun/RPyNfh
[SIC] "Took me a lot longer to make the changes than what it took you to write, appreciate it more than you know!"
Lol, I get that. It took me 10 years to tell you those things within 10 minutes. :)
Good luck! Let's stay connected!
Wish IH had dms! My LinkedIn.
Your strapline has a spelling/grammar error: "Get 10x fasters insights than everyone else" - it should be "faster" not "fasters".
On the same strapline, my first thought was where does the "10x" value come from? Is that a researched number, or just holding copy? As a future use I'd want to know where that number comes from.
I like the name - even got a good domain as well, which always seems to be a pain for me. I also like the design, but I think it looks more techy/cool compared to who your traditional competitors would be - that could be a good thing, but it could also be unappealing to your target audience.
I'm very drawn by the "Speak to 10 years of financial data." example in the middle of the page, and clicked the zuckerberg news button several times expecting to see an example. I'm assuming that's part of the product building that's going on, but definitely had my interest.
Thanks a ton! I have fixed the grammar issues you pointed out, amazing how little one sees after spending a lot of time with the product.
I agree on the Brand topic, I think I am a bit split between appealing as a modern company Vs having a beige corporate-like look. Still contemplating this
As per the "Speak to 10 years of financial data" really glad to hear, there is a lot more I can drop attention down to but holding off on that before I show more of the product, in the future I image that button show a small window into how the product would work.
