Roast my blog post... SEO, Content, anything!

As part of Monitoro's strategy for 2020, better visibility and content is at the top of priorities.

Move it from a subdomain to a subfolder.

Traffic to a subdomain doesn't help the domain the same way that traffic in a subfolder does (from what I've heard, although I think Google says different).
I'm guessing that's why this advice was given. The post assumes that your blog is there to generate organic traffic and help your website rank.
Yeah I actually dove into the topic and I'm 1000% convinced.
In fact I'm going to change my blogging platform just to enable that.
