Roast my browser extension!

Hi all!

I want to ask you to try my product for neck pain, Hyss.

It is a browser extension which shows exercises, tracks progress and sends notifications about the next session.

Our landing page: hyss-neck.com.

Here is the link directly to the google store:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/therapy-instructions/ocgmajckfccbpplnlccpjkgfncikdgem/

In the extension, type test@gmail.com when prompted.

I am awaiting your thoughts!

Cheers,
Andrii

For health-related app to improve your credibility it would be nice to link or mention advice from doctors related to how whatever you're suggesting is science-backed and recommended. This helps build trust with the user - how do I know that doing these exercises will actually help my problems instead of making them worse?

I'd recommend looking into Chiropractors as this is their field of expertise.

Thanks for the reply. The thing is, I am a neurologist myself, and I deliberately tried to avoid this kind of mention, although the exercises there ARE from the official guidelines.
The app must be a medical product if medical professionals are involved. In Germany, we already have the so-called "digital health solution" (digitale Gesundheitsanwendung or DIGA) that requires a specific amount of research and licensing to go to the market.
Till now, I do not decide on that :)
Maybe I have to look at how to play that around; thanks again!

P.S. What would you guys suggest? Has anybody worked on this sort of product?

Oh interesting! I'm not sure if we have the same requirements across the pond. Pretty cool that you're a neurologist 😊

I haven't worked on a product in this space but speaking as a potential user trust goes a long way if the lead is cold OR it would help if patients were recommended this extension by their doctor (not sure if you have some friends doing primary care) to create some warmer leads.

I think the marketing in social networks is important. IH sent the email yesterday (https://www.indiehackers.com/post/whats-new-attracting-users-without-an-existing-audience-4c14713057?utm_source=indie-hackers-emails&utm_campaign=ih-newsletter&utm_medium=email) where Anže recommends social listening.
I have created a post on subreddit r/Posture (https://www.reddit.com/r/Posture/comments/wqjwh3/how_and_when_are_you_fighting_bad_neck/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) and asked people there. It is a bit old, but I am planning to revive it and maybe create some posts on other subreddits.

Good job. I think there are some problems with spacing in the "Exercise Anywhere" section on mobile.
