Roast my Demo Video

I've been trying to find a good way to explain what my new startup, ContactLink, does for our small business customers.

It's under a minute. Trying to keep it short.

Does this explain what ContactLink does and why a small business would want it? What kinds of businesses are the best targets for me?

Please roast my video and let me know. Thanks!!

Update - Based on comments here, I added a voiceover track to tell the story of what's happening. It's live at the same link as before.

First - this is a very cool widget-like comms functionality bundle - well done.
markets - real estate, residential service trades, businesses that deliver anything like a local florist, any business that has a lot of ping-pong comms with someone for a short time or has a close relationship - a marketing agency could use it LOL, accountants and lawyers MIGHT to some degree. It's a kind of set-up-once-use-many-times contact solution - I think it has potential if you present it in a very simple way - those markets are of pedestrian technical skill so dead simple is key.

I think it needs text explainers in between the snippets of video that say "let say you want to contact tom' and then you show some stuff and now we are at your contact link page and it says "when you go to his contact link you get all these options plus the ability to save the link to get back here" show some more vid, say "you can reach tom all these different ways text, email, phone, video" maybe show each one or just the money one - the instant video call then have another text pane pop up that says "anyone can create their own contact link and embed it into their website, their email sig, their social media profile etc. - TELL A STORY.

I kind of get it while I am watching but I am unsure about where we are starting from - who makes that contact button just anyone? any button? cuz it's just a URL, right? We start on toms' realty but we leave and go to your site, then the magic happens. Maybe just slow it/dumb it down a tad to not lose anyone in the options.

Show what it does while explaining what's happening then show all the ways you can leverage it with different implementations like the ones I mentioned. (email sig, url on website, social profile) go nuts and show one with a QR code maybe.

Maybe this would be phase II or pro version but can it all be embedded into the toms realty website without appearing to go to contact link? On your page can I add my logo and change the page colors to match my site and branding? Those would be cool ways to have all the functionality without any appearance of being tossed off to some other site.

Thanks! I love the idea of text explainers, and my video editor (Camtasia) lets me do that. I can also reduce the music volume to a background level and do a voiceover that tells the story.

You are right, the button on Tom's website is just firing a URL, so the same URL can be on business cards, social profile, yard signs, brochures, etc... whether as a typed URL or a QR code.

I am trying to find the compromise between being quick and telling more of the story. If tech savvy IndieHackers are still a bit unsure how it works, then probably I'm being too quick and need more storytelling.
