Congrats on this. As a solo-founder actively trying to find that first dev to go from MVP to MMP i see the value in this.
Something that I would ask it include (future of course) is some sort of equity consulting or equity mediation.
At Celi's stage, I've gone from idea, to validation, to 15-week MVP with 13% WoW growth, and 489 users.
BUT, nothing happens without the MMP which I can't build, so it's been challenging when negogiating what equity splits would be

I can imagine it is quit fustrating when you've got your MVP working and proofing your concept to be succesful, then have to worry about equity splits and everything. Probably someone has never been there and done that before.
Starting from the get-go with a transparent equity split you can indeed avoid trouble in the future. Initially this was one of the points in my idea, but got somewhere lost in translation. Thank you for pointing that out!

I'm on the other side of the spectrum, I am a engineer/coder, so for me it is always difficult to market and sell my product. Even validating my idea can be a struggle.

That is funny! I had an idea like this in my mind, a way to never forget a birthday again. I did some research and found apps doing that. Is your app unique in some way? And did you already find a cofounder to build it?
I believe it's unique yeah. It's networked and goes beyond the birthday. All other "birthday apps" are single-player so are without network effects or product led acquistion and they require human manual input which is the original point of failure. Right now, 144 people use Celi and have an average of 3.83 dates on the platform so every 6 - 7 weeks a connection pair is nudged into convo with each other to Celi something. It's quite wholesome and with a 2.07 viral coeffcient users seem to enjoy it!
But, no, haven't brought on a co-founder. I'm not sure if I ever will. the immediate need is a talented dev who can bring Celi from MVP to MMP, if you know anyone!
Ah I see! About the dev think, if someone is not becoming co-founder means you have to pay for the development right? I think there are plenty of developers out there that can build this for you.
