🔥 Roast my landing page

The landing page looks clean and the idea is cool, but I don't get it completely what your App is for? Maybe you should add some text to explain the value people will have by using your app, that would be a great idea I guess. But the UI looks great so far, keep it up!

Hey Anthony, loved the minimalistic approach for the landing page. But, I feel it doesn't really offer any value to a user.

Since you are expecting users to complete 2 different tasks - the 'download' cta on this page and the final download on the app store page, you need to make sure that you've answered all their objections.

Here are a few points that might make your landing page more valuable.

• add a few glimpses of the app
• add the best reviews that might motivate users
• try adding 2-3 quick benefits of the app

it would help you retain users who were just planning to bounce back or close the tab:).

I like the design! but to be honest I was only 90% sure what it does (I'm guessing it makes your apps into a minimalist list like the screen shows)- maybe add another line of description?

I liked the UI.
The idea is cool imho.

I liked the wallpaper: black or white sheet 😊

The name is not so fancy. The user might think: if I install Dumbify, I become dumb 😐

Try something better, cooler naming. Think with users' mind, like:
Clean Screen, Easy Launcher, I don't know!
This is just an opinion.

Looks fine. Left/right space should be the same though.
Try justify-content: right on #landing-content-right for wide screens.

I'm in a rush so this will be direct.

1. Phone falls off the bottom of my laptop. I'm on a 14" MBP. That's cool if that's ok, but just FYI.

2. I think the iPhone should be an animation. Like it shows me (I pretend) unlocking my phone and it pops up the Dumbify app and then select something and it goes about the business. Just something simple, no fingers or hand or anything, just highlighting and a click noise so that I can see the simplicity of it better otherwise I'm guessing.

I like simple stuff like this.

Also I'd show the settings page below the fold because the reason I didn't download it was because most of the links in your example image I don't use and therefore I couldn't see how I would use it. If I saw how to setup and that I can configure my own links then I'd have been more likely to give it a spin.

Honestly, pretty good landing page idea considering the product, I loved it.
The only thing for me is that it didn't catch right away what is a Launcher (even though I use an iPhone 😅). It could be just me, but maybe not, so just something to keep in mind, maybe include the word "home screen" somewhere, just like in your app store page could be nice.

I love the idea and know a few people that would appreciate this.
Maybe ZenLauncher or something of that sort would be a better name.
I'd remove Dark\Light mode from the AppStore description and use the customers attention to explain your unique value.

But relating to the landing page (which is what you asked about), it is very straight forward and simple but way too simple. I'm missing the context, the usage and my gain. A demo of the basic usage (short animation) would go 99% of the way and keep the landing page simple and straightforward.
