Roast my landing page

Hi,

I've launched a new venture and am looking for some feedback on whether the landing page is clear.

https://www.faikeme.com/

  • Do you understand what my site does ?
  • What do you think of the name ?
  • Are you compelled to use it ?

Many thanks !

Happy hacking 🚀

    Hi, Nice project!.

I think that instead of the slider it would be nice to show an example of input -> output where the input is the original photo of the person and the output is the AI generated image (maybe with the prompt used too?). I believe that would made a better example for the user.

Btw if you need a fast CDN with lot of features to process your AI generated images take a look to https://imglab.io maybe it can be useful for your service!

Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated. I've been thinking about including a before/after image so it's a great point. I quite like the slider but maybe a slide (or more than one) showing the before/after combined would work. I'll have a play. Imglab looks great but not sure how it fits into what I am doing unless maybe I watermark some of the results. That may be useful infact. Just too many things to do and think about at the moment! Thanks again 🙏

I would take the entire "how it works page" and just bolt it to the lower half of the main page - I want to see a static set of possible results images and that little bit of explanation. You almost have too little on the main page and the how it works page is minimal as well so combine them.

Hey 💯. Seems so obvious now you say it! The "How it Works" was split out because I warbled on about the tech so much. But now I've slashed the content on that page it should go back on the home page. Thank you. 👍

I wish the "Get Started" and "Buy as Gift" buttons (together) had the same width as the "Flash Sale" button.

Thanks. I was struggling to line up those buttons as the gap between "Get Started" and "Buy as Gift" is set by the framework - but it can be sorted of course. Was also having issues with "Flash Sale" on phones as the button was too wide. Devil's in the detail ! Thanks for the feedback :)

I think it's clear what the site does but hope you don't mind saying that I think the name doesn't get at the real value of the site and could be more clear. Yes you are creating fake images but really the fun is being able to generate digital images of yourself in funny / interesting settings.

One thing I think that could be more clear also is if the site just generates images itself when I upload pictures or if I get to give it prompts off of which it generates images

Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. I plan to allow inputs from the user to help seed the images. There's an interesting question around whether as a service provider prompts should be completely open and for this fun service I (currently) think it shouldn't be.
