Here's a link to my website: [https://regardingapp.com]
It's a Slack app that lets you send FYIs, Questions, and ToDos without interruptions.
I won't get into more than that because I want to see if the landing page does the idea justice.
Is the purpose of the app clear? Is the value proposition clear? What do you think of the landing page and the idea?
Hiya
I bloody love it. Fun, funny, serious issue solved for Slack business users. Clear prop. Great copy. And, in a way, it kinda implies it is a culture changer. Like the way people work could be changed for good. It's ages since I've seen an app this thoughtful and well developed.
wow, thank you!
The landing page needs space at least on mobile it is imo way too overloaded
Nice website and good idea!
Great work Corey. Here are a few minor opportunities for improvement. I would make the navbar a bit smaller so I could push the hero section up and have some sort of social proof right below. Perhaps just a few logos of companies using this. Consider fitting all of this in the “above-the-fold” section. Everything else looks great, but the pricing section needs a bit of work. Lots of good examples online (e.g. stripe billing), but happy to offer some guidance if needed. Also, better to have all the FAQs aligned and stacked vertically. Best of luck!
Alas I have no social proof because I have zero users at the moment, but when I get some, I'll definitely look into doing exactly that. I think you're right that the pricing could use a bit of love. Once I go into production, I'll see what I can do to make it look a bit better.
as someone who is in the target market (i get so distracted by Slack messages) this is amazing. all in all, i thought the page was very clear. one thought to improve it. what if you made a calculator based on the time wasted/cost savings? that way a potential customer could see how much money and time they are saving by using your solution?
Very cool idea with the calculator. I'll add it to the backlog. Since you're in the target market, interested in being a beta tester?
Hey! congrats on regarding Corey! I like the app idea and I think you are communicating it pretty good, I saw other peeps here are mentioning a lot of good stuff in this side of things too, so I'll focus on the design
I like the Hero design! though the following section looks a bit off from it; and this repeats at section 3 ("how much do interruptions cost your company'), and also in the footer.. I think the background color of these sections isn't the best choice; at my eyes, it make them look a bit 'old style'. Also, in section 3 the icons you're using for the four components are also making it feel kind of "old". I'd try to change this icon for some kind of circle or square with rounded borders in the style of the graphics you have in the hero or in the section "What's the difference between an FYI, Question, and ToDo?".
Also, I don't really like the pricing section, It's a bit confusing. Their titles are not what one would expect to see (Free.. this is ok, Everyone.. i was waiting for something in the lines of basic or something like that), and the third one is not just a question, but two. I think in the middle one you're even using the title of the package to mention who you're targeting with it (everyone? I'd probably reconsider this too). I think I'd move the third pricing tier (which for what I see is just a question and an answer) to the FAQs section.
Lastly, I'd also reconsider the solid background colors you're using for them, I see they're taking from your brand colors, but maybe you can make the entire section look a bit softer (I particularly feel the red color isn't the best choice to use in the package you want your users to incline to, you know, it's bigger, in the middle and so.. and red color has it psychology behind).
Hope it helps and again, congrats on regarding! it looks like a great app!
Thanks for the detailed reply. Consensus around here is that the pricing needs work, so I'll definitely fix that up before launch. I appreciate the insights and details. Thank you!
I don't use slack very often but yah silent messages idea is kinda good.
i think the second section below hero could be improved somewhat. It looks a bit off from other parts of the site which are more clean and more informative.
That part is a video. Though it seems you're not the only one who missed that. :)
oh, it wasn't very clear.

Overall really liked it.
Would suggest to have some direct usecases example like a recording video of how it work for best clarity.
Also focus on free part more as that is compelling to try.
Overall I really like it! The only complaint is the color pallet doesn't invoke much for me and looks somewhat plain.
Mine too https://www.marketee.io
Hey I like the overall design, apart from the second section which is out of formatting I guess. Also while you scroll down the site seems a little packed with information and its not easy to figure out where to look first. But I wish you good luck with the product, seems nice.
The design is great but at a glance its kinda tough to figure out what it really does. A short video would help to explain what it really does. The other thing is the pricing seems a bit ambiguous, don't get any idea from the details of what it could potentially cost. If its user based I think a dynamic slider would be cool that just updates the price as the number grows. If the pricing is free, I think all of those cards should just go away and should be one thing mentioning free for beta users. The tiles can cause a bit of confusion there.
Here's an example of the slider: https://ghost.org/pricing/
Overall, I think you do have something cool going on here! I like the "How much do interruptions cost your company?" portion, good stuff
There's a short video on the site. ;) Dynamic slider is a good idea. Noted.
Ahh I see it now, was a little hidden in plain sight. Nice!
I added some padding around the video to make it clearer that it's a video. Better?
I really liked the overall design (the graphics are super cute!), but I didn't really understand what it does. How is it different from sending a message in slack?
Since slack interruptions aren't really an issue for me, maybe I didn't catch the value it brings.
Also, in the copy you jump straight to your solution + the product features. I would start with framing the problem and then the benefit it brings to your users.
Could be helpful to have a short video/gif to show it in action I think. That way you can also take out some of the text in the landing page.
Good luck!
Thanks Marin. If it's not clear what value it brings, there's definitely a problem. The reason I built the app is because I find Slack messages interrupt my flow. I stop what I'm doing to read the messages, even if I have the channel muted (because that little red dot is sooooo enticing). The purpose of the app is to let people send you low priority messages that don't interrupt your flow. You get one message at times that YOU set that say "You have 4 FYIs, 2 questions, and 1 ToDo", then you can answer all of them in batches. If you have a suggestion how I can make that clearer, I'm all ears.
In terms of the video, there's already one on the website, but it's not a demo video -- it's more promotional. I'm the worst video editor known to man. But if you know someone who can make a demo video, please pass their name along and I'd love to have a conversation.
No worries, if you are the worst, then I must be the 2nd worst hehe. I've done a little video editing with Canva Pro and its a game changer! Just use one of their templates, and its super easy! At least for this first version where you just want to explain what i does. .
And thanks for the explanation, that makes a lot of sense. I think if you give more context to the problem then you can add a section, something along the lines of:
"How does it work? 3 simple steps
(copy a little rough around the edges, but you get the idea!) : )
This is great. I'm just trying to figure out how to put it on the page and keep it looking tight. Thanks for this. I'll try to get this added to the website soon.
Glad to be of help!
I updated the page with your suggestions. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Looks really good! I liked the content design as well : )
Landing page is bomb but why does your pricing page does not have actual price
Because it's going to be free while in beta.
You shouldn't give it away for free during the beta, otherwise you'll never know how much of a real pain you're solving.
Love the design!! It looks so legit. I would’ve totally believed it was an established startup.
May I ask what did you use to create the landing page? Did you hire a designer?
The value prop was clear, although my work uses Teams so I felt like I’m not your target audience. Maybe a signup for “notify me when it’s available for Teams”?
Hired a designer. There are Teams logos all over the site, I guess I missed the mark with that one, because you can sign up to be notified when the Teams app is available. Thanks for the feedback.
The hero section is great, well done. But the pricing page falls apart. Pretty lackluster. Easy improvements, though, pump up the fonts, add some icons, and clarify the messaging.
A good landing page should be visually appealing, easy to navigate, and have a clear call-to-action. It should provide enough information about the product or service to entice the user to take action without overwhelming them with too much information.
