Roast my landing page and I will roast yours

Last week I spent on creating a landing page for my new side project. The first few days went on to find the right platform, which suffices my needs.

I looked at tens of website builders and finally got sold to Wix, it was just because of their pricing.

Here is the link to my landing page: https://www.readrecall.com/, please do share your valuable & brutal feedback. I am all ears.

As mentioned in the title, you can share your landing page link below in the comment, and I would be happy to share my feedback.

Let's do some roasting-roasting 😁

    It's nice @utsav - I've 2 quick feedback

    1. It's a bit inconsistent to see illustration from Undraw and Open Peeps
    2. Would be great to see a mock-up of the product

Does Notion page count? Keen to hear your roast on my side project

Love the ideas. I might be echoing some of the feedback below.

    1. Button - could add some horizontal padding, it looks pretty crampy now.
    2. Headings - standardized the font-weight and font-style for heading. Add some weight to "Organize, track, ..". Change "Sync your highlights" to a normal letter instead of uppercase.
    3. Icon - Icons on "Highlights at your fingertips" section looks off with vertical alignment.
    4. Mobile - Doesn't look great on mobile. Is it responsive?

You can roast mine here: https://www.opengraph.xyz/

    Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback and yes it's mobile responsive. What's breaking at your end?

      -------------

      Here is yours:

      • You could add a relevant image on first fold otherwise completely remove it
      • The second image looks way bigger compared to content. The entire focus goes there
      • "What Do You Need To Know About Open Graph Meta Tags?" is not consistent with the above headings
      • There is only one CTA on the entire website, you should consider adding on at the bottom

      Hope this helps.

        Thanks for the feedback.

Regarding the responsive, it doesn't resize at all when I resize down my browser.

    Hi.

I viewed your website on mobile. I think the above the fold does a pretty good job of explaining what your product does. But the background loads very slow and is initially blurred. So I was thinking the initial screen was a pop-up. Instead I had to scroll down.

One thing that isn't clear to me is, do I have to change the way I take notes? How does it work with random online articles? And does it integrate with e.g. Notion?

Hope this helps. I'm currently working on https://melbado.com

Your feedback is helpful and to the point. Thanks or that

      -----

      Here is yours:

      • It is not clear what I will get by discovering startups
      • Not able to understand what you do and how the website is gonna helpful to me
      • The rocket image below doesn't describe anything
      • Content is less on the landing page

      Hope it helps

        Nice. Thank you!

Hey @utsav, I think it's a nice idea. Some feedback:

    • like other comments, I don't know how your product works or what it looks like. You should add visual / screenshots of what it does.
    • You can add screenshot of what the highlight looks like in slack.
Good luck on your side project.

You can roast my side project idea and landing page too: https://podcastbooks.xyz/

    :D

      Thanks for your feedback.

      Here you go:

      • Favicon is missing
      • Try to add your value proposition on the H1 instead of the product name
      • CTA on the first fold can boost the conversion
      • Try to add more content if possible

    CTA.

I watched a video with the founder of "MeetEdgar" she said that her best-converting landingpage had the quote "Get Invite Access" or "Request Invite Access"

Perhaps you should change your CTA to that, it's similar to what I have done on https://www.spreadtech.online/

I don't know if you have implemented this or not as I didn't sign up, but when users do sign up, tell them they can get earlier access if they share the landing page link to twitter.

Hopefully, this small viral loop will help bring in a few more visitors :)

Overall really great page and I understood what it was immediately.

      Here you go:

      • The first image could be more relevant
      • There are 3 CTA's on the very first fold which makes me confusing where to click
      • The page looks neat
      • The pricing page has no pricing in it which is a bit confusing
      • The UI of the pricing can be improved. There is a bit of confusion between right and wrong icons because both of them have the same design
      • There is no way to reach out to anyone if I have any questions

      Hope this helps.
