Roast my landing page (and idea), please!

Here's a link to my website, Tuel: https://tuel.io

Think a morning routine via SMS. Use the web app to build out your daily focuses in key areas (family, love, career, money, health, spirituality) and (if you want) affirmations. Pick a delivery time and get daily SMS messages with your daily actions and affirmations, plus gratitude and journaling prompts with a digital journal created from your SMS responses sent each day.

I know there are some beautiful apps out there that do this. I wanted something simple so I thought - “why not do it all via SMS?”

-Is the idea clear from the landing page?
-Is the value prop interesting?
-Anything else?

    Hi Michael,

I love your app idea. I also love the simplicity of this landing page. With this being said, I think that all of the content taking up just the middle third of the page looks a little weird. It would be more visually appealing to have it spread out. I also think that you will have more success with this page if there are more call to actions. I see that you haven't launched yet so maybe that is not your priority, although it is always good to have more leads than less, even if you haven't launched yet. Also it is a bit confusing how you sign up for the early discount. Is this if you enter your e-mail address under the "get access" section?
With this being said, I disagree with some of the other comments. The simple colors and fonts work well! You could benefit by adding some images. Wishing you the best of luck.

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I definitely appreciate all the feedback, and you are correct, in my limited time getting the app functioning is my priority, but I agree in a perfect world getting leads ahead of time is best. I plan to update the landing page with your suggestions (and maybe a color change to purple/pink [?]) after finishing the product.

As far as the discount - it will be when folks upgrade after registering. Good to know that needs to be made clearer. Thank you again!

I think a big tag line telling what it does would help. Most people click on and off of pages instantly, so you want to have a title that says what Tuel does.

What you wrote here would work perfectly: "Routine Management via SMS"

Thanks, updated it and went with “ Gratitude, journaling & more via daily SMS”

I don't like the landingpage, I'm sorry. Here are some of my thoughts

    • change the logo and color to something that stands for all the things you mentioned (money, health, spirituality etc.)
    • Change the font. Mono fonts look like you'd try to target developers
    • it's a bit boring... Try to add animations and images
    • speaking of images: it would be nice to have some images with a phone device and some example SMS so that the user knows what he could expect... Don't just mention the features, tell them with images
    • the price seems to be a bit high.. Also, a free plan would be nice

These are just my thoughts. I'm not an expert, it's just my opinion :) Hope that helps

Thank you. Any suggestions on the pricing? Budgeting for 10 SMSs per day at 0.01 each gets me at $35/year as my basic cost per user. Offering a 30 day trial costs me $3. Both those don’t include any advertising.
