Roast my landing page and offer please

I launched this service on ProductHunt and got less traction than I thought I would 🤔 Would someone be so kind as to roast me, whether landing page, PH page, or product itself? Feel free to post your landing page and I’ll share feedback back ❤️

Hi @diana, the concept is great. I like your landing page. It's simple and explains how it works.

Sometimes these things are luck of the draw. Maybe you launched against a bunch of other very compelling products that edged you out.

OK, having said that, "Meet a network of real people who care about your growth." does sound a little hokey. Why would a random stranger care about my growth? It implies a "free lunch" and we all know there is no such thing. :)

How about something like, "Meet a network of like-minded people, and grow together." This implies a level of cooperation and is more believable than the former.

Also, the photos of the people being used is too mainstream. You've got nice age, ethnic and gender diversity but they are all dressed alike. Maybe throw a punk rocker in there with piercings and a spiked mohawk (don't have them smile like the ones on there (don't think it's fit their character)), and someone who's dyed their hair, etc.

Hope this helps. ALl the best!

    I love it.

I once mis-read it's the Hum by Colgate haha

Would be great to see more Twitter vibes on your landing page @diana

I think you need to speak to the value more. Why should people want to build a network on Twitter? And why should they use a product to do it rather than just doing it themselves for free? And as Kamal points out, the headline lacks believability. People you just meet have no reason to care about your growth.

Perhaps you could try to tap into a pain point or emotional hot button as a hook for the hero area. Knowing and refining your target audience will really help with this. For instance, if you are going after people who haven't been able to get much value from Twitter because their contacts don't interact with them, you could write copy around that frustration.

Instead of using an asterisk to attribute the Forbes information, I include a pull quote with the logo or something similar to really make it stand out. A third-party source like Forbes is great for adding credibility and trust, so try to get the most you can out of it.

I'd also see if you can include more elements that build trust and credibility. Testimonials would be a great inclusion for social proof. Or do you have any stats that point to the end result for users to demonstrate the value?

A free trial isn't a bad offer. That's probably why it's pretty standard. But I think you can do more the entice people by adding urgency or positioning it a bit differently. You may want to test a version of the page where you sell the offer rather than the product. You could even position it as a one week challenge where they measure the improvement, and possibly hold off on the pricing until the end of the trial.

    Best of luck.

The "Daily DM" confused me. This is a DM on Twitter? From you, or from the people you're finding for me?

Good catch, that is confusing. (It's a DM from Hum to you that lists people found)

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for 🥰 I'm going to refine the copy to answer those puzzlers. Totally makes sense and I appreciate your thinking honestly aloud.
