I get what you are doing but am less clear on why. Is the idea a sales person gives out these temporary phone numbers and then customers cannot spam his real number?
This was intended for 2-sided marketplaces to connect their customers. My target audience was ride sharing.
I should adjust this to figure out how to make the messaging more clear.

I really like the idea, but give me some more use cases - like maybe for attendees to a conference, or some kind of dating app (no one wants to give their real phone number out straight away, right?).

Communicating what problem you are solving and for who are you solving it will drive clarity. Currently I'm not sure I have a clear understanding of the use case.
When you come to do the full site for this, be at pains to explain who else can access the audio and texts accompanying this temporal connection. You're going to have to overcome trust issues to sell this.
