Roast My Landing Page

Hi Everyone,

First time, I made the landing page of my product with a no-code tool. I feel this was really productive. I was able to focus on the content more than a technology.

I would be happy to see roasts and feedbacks about the landing page. The link is below.

don't know what the value is for tech-founders, may be that could be explained better.
also the price seems steep for video calls unless I misunderstood the value proposition

      Thank you for your feedback.
Maker Meet offers a way to expand professionals networks, tech founders included.
Main point is the random professionals you meet might be your new colleague, a person you might ask help for your next launch, your future co-founder, and etc.

I'll work on the wording on landing page. Thank you for making me aware of it.

I never get a complain about pricing. Could you share what country are you from? Maybe I should consider regional pricing. That's why I'm asking the country.

Also if the pricing is the only reason you prevent you to be part of Maker Meet, feel free to reach me out on twitter @yigitagcame. We can find a solution about it :)

    Nice interface.
I suggest you add more reviews to show potential customers the social proof of your product

      Thank you for your comment!

I'm adding more as much as I receive :)

Seems like you're trying to build a community platform for professionals who are looking to network. But then you're using corporate memphis illustrations & fairly sterile looking stock photos. Consider really working on your brand as it comes across as very generic.

Most professionals don't pay for networking - there's plenty of local events & free slack groups. There are instances where people will pay: access to people with sought after or specialised skillsets (ie. I am developer but have never worked in startups, I want to network with devs who have worked in startups), access to an exclusive group of "the best" people etc. So focus on that point of difference that would persuade people to pay. And no way will you be able to ask for money before building a solid base of professionals imo

      Thank you for your feedback.

I'll definitely consider your comments about the design.

About your hypothesis "Most professionals don't pay for networking", this is what I'm testing now.

I have been pretty happy with the first day result, though. Although I just shared on my twitter, yesterday. I got around 100 requests access and almost 10% already paid for it.

Filtering professionals is going to be a feature in the launch version. You may already see that on the pricing section.

This is the early access version which does not offer any filtering. But let you to lock the low price for life long.

Some pictures are unnecessary large since they do not provide any information rather than just illustration, so consider make the smaller to make the landing page cleaner and more sleek.

      Thank you for the feedback.
Once I learn changing the aspect ratio of the visuals from the control panel of the no-code tool, I'll take care of them. Still I'm discovering the control panel :)

How expensive, was it to setup this? Plus was it easy to make changes to the UI after? Could see a couple of padding issues and other minor visibility things.

It was for free. You may check their packages on their website.
Making changes is easy but you have a lot of limitation. Or I couldn't understand the control panel fully yet.
I agree with you about padding issues. The actual landing page already under construction. I kick start the product earlier and wanted to try a no-code platform.

Understood. Pretty cool still. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on no code! I am beginning to really see the power on some of my own ideas.

I am struggling to understand the why. What problem is this solving for folks? I am suggest considering what pain you're solving for someone and make that front and center as the first think you say.

      Thank you for your comment.
As your comment is so broad I couldn't understand your point. Hero and Why? sections explains the solution. Feel free to let me know what was not clear for you

Point taken on my broad comment, let me know if this helps:

This is less about clarity and more around articulating pain. What pain are you trying to solve for? Ideally something someone (your ideal customer) feels so directly they will want to sign up.
