Hi ππ½ if I could get some gentle feedback on my landing page that would be wonderful.
As I said I'm slightly anxious so please be kind, but I will try to take it constructively!
Thanks
It's not bad. I like that you show the product and have the CTA right up front, so people know immediately what it is and what you want them to do. I also think it's good that there is no main navigation to draw people away. In fact, I would remove the link to Twitter as well.
I like that there's a demo to show exactly what the person will get, but I almost missed it. Why not just make the image the demo video?
You do a good job of explaining what the product is and does, but I think you need more to establish the value. What makes this worth the price? What is the benefit?
Also, if you're asking for a direct purchase, even for something with a small price tag, you could do more to put prospects at ease. How do they know the payment is secure? What assurance do they have it will work as shown? Perhaps include some trust logos and/or testimonials.
Finally, as for the product itself, it may be more valuable to users if it had a bit more context. Do your target customers know what those numbers mean? Is there a typical range for good speeds, average speeds and slow? If so maybe show which range the user is in, maybe with colors and/or dials. And if they are slow, what should the user do about it? Maybe link to more resources of offer suggestions?
Best of luck,
Okay. You asked for it... THIS IS THE WORST THING I'VE EVER....... jk π
No. This is actually a really good landing page. Keep the gradient. The iMac is nice. Try to drift away from that lame Helvetica Neue font. Try something like Rubik. I think that will fit your landing page well. When you go into a smaller screen, the iMac image is smaller and hard to see. Keep it at about 80% of the screen width at that point. And when I'm on a mobile screen, it disappears. Also, the "twitter" link text is pink which doesn't contrast well off of the background since it is somewhat pink too so that makes it hard to read. I think a #f39c12 (gold color) would work well π
Cool product! ππ
Thanks for those kind words! I was having some annoying problems with the image so I know that needs sorting (I'm pretty noob with design and with CSS).
I'll have a look at the font and changing the twitter link too, thanks.
Okay! Wish you luck! π
It's a pretty simple concept, but I feel like you need more than just 1 line of text. For some reason, it doesn't feel right that there isn't any more information on the page, and you can scroll.
Thanks! A friend also said that it might need some more text so I'll take that on board.
Hey @Raidzklart
Definitely not bad, simple and clear solution.
The only drawback is the choice of color and gradient combination. I'd suggest to play around Coolors and find a nice palette.
I'm also improving my site, keen to know your feedback too!
Hello Thomas,
This is a product for people on the move, checking the internet speed on the cafe or new workplace, so a laptop instead of the desktop version would be much better to have on your hero section.
Best,
Sebastian
Don't spend much time on small things. I personally like that there is just enough information and not a bunch of fancy words (a picture and the demo demonstrates the product perfectly). I would change the price though. Make it 0.99 or make it zero but with donate button or add advertisement.
In case you add donate button you need some text so people would want to donate. Maybe also keep the history of results of the speed tests. Best of luck with the product and landing page :) P.S. the so looks quite nice.
