Alright, let's have some fun! 🎉 Time to roast jsonsilo.com!

Description of JsonSilo.com:

JsonSilo.com is a website that claims to be the ultimate tool for frontend developers, providing a platform to host dummy JSON files and use them as APIs. According to them, frontend developers can seamlessly manage their Silo (hosted JSON data) and even create API keys for added security.

Now, it's time for you to unleash your creativity and humor. Feel free to roast JsonSilo.com in a playful and light-hearted manner. Remember, it's all in good fun, and we're just having a laugh!

    Hi! Here are my thoughts:

    • It was clear to me from the landing page what the product does, which is ultimately the most important thing
    • The product video helped a lot, the only thing that might be a bit redundant there is the part where you generate an API key, maybe consider trimming it
    • The pricing was strange, especially the fact that atm it is not possible to have more than one silo. I am not dev by trade, but wouldn't it be an issue for me when considering signing up?
    • Also, the way you communicate the plans, could it just be 2 cards, and second plan would have some info about how much would I pay if I want more silos?
    • 20 Silos + 1 Free - why?
    • Navigation is missing main CTA. Consider adding "Get started" next to Sign in. It should also be the most prominent button. Fixing the navigation to top might also help having the CTA always reachable throghout the entire site
    • How it works section has pointer cursor on headers even though it does not expand, link to anything
    • Does the account really need username? Is email not enough in this case?

    Some cool idea for you to think about - Consider having a free public version/interactive demo limited to very small number requests, so as a dev I could quickly try it without giving my info. If I like it I would sign up to continue using it

    I think it should be pretty intersting to see some use cases on your landing page. I like your product but I don't find any use case at the moment.

    In fact I suppose, for any Indie Hackers project, we should give some use cases to allow people to understand the pain the product solves. Right ?
