Roast my landing-page hero section.

I'm working on the landing page of my tool that lets you create waitlist. Can you look at the screenshot above and let me know if the value proposition is communicated clearly?

I'd welcome suggestions to make it better. Let me know.

As others have said, I think the "onboarding" part muddles things.

I also think rather than selling the value of waitlists ("launch your software confidently") you should consider selling the value of your particular solution.

Leaning into the ease of using your no-code platform is actually your biggest selling point IMO.

I'd also consider adding a bit about the problem you're solving. What happens if users don't use your solution? Twist the knife a little.

That's a very interesting insight, @joeatspiel. Thank you. I am rewriting the copy and as you mentioned, I'm going to test with 'no-code' in focus.

That's an interesting take! Thank you for giving me new ideas!

No problem at all! Happy to cast my eyes over the copy once you're done!

Love the graphic K, how did you make that?

I found the offer a bit confusing. Is this a stand alone service that has everything I need to create & launch a waitlist site for my product? Or, is this a tool that creates a waitlist that I can plug into an existing site? Its tough for me to tell without looking at the rest of the landing page, but it should be more clear in the header.

    Keep on rockin!

I didn't. Found it on the Internet without any copyright. I'm planning to change it to something similar.

      1. Yes, the service gives you a dedicated page to accept sign-ups and build a list. I'm working on adding viral components and referrals.

      2. You can link to the email collection page using a button or direct link. As launch offer, I'm helping with the integration free of cost.

      3. Yeah - I'm tweaking the hero. Lot of great feedback here.

I like that approach, good luck with your venture!

I am a bit confused with the text tbh.

I know. Working on fixing it.

The headline is clear, but are you sure you want to target early-stage software startups?

The lead is a bit confusing. How is onboarding users part of a prelaunch waitlist? Isn't this basically just a form for people to enter their email?

I'm thinking this could work better for creators who want to test a product idea on their audience.

Yeah, I read my copy and think it needs to be 10x better. I'm working on the feedback I received so far.

Just check is the software already built?

Clear value prop. I'm not clear why someone would think that a waitlist service would require coding - so I'd probably leave the no-code piece out?

Thanks. I thought of targeting it to IndieHackers who don't know how to code. It's easy for them to set this up with just few clicks.

Looks pretty good to me tbh

Thank you for the feedback. I'm optimizing it make it even better.

Based solely on the value proposition.

It is a little confusing for me when you mentioned "takes care of onboarding". Because when I read your title I thought your software just provided a way to collect emails. Basically a landing page with that purpose. So its not clear why you do onboarding.

Another thing to highlight is "the easiest way". This is too generic. It would be great if you provide a way to clarify why is it the easiest? Just because its no code? You won't need to buy a domain to make it happen? Which is the hard things you are avoiding the user to make it the easiest.

Hey - that's a detailed feedback. Thank you! You are right. I read my own copy and it looks like it's too much of text.

The main value proposition, I think is that many people waste lot of time and energy without testing the markets. Waitlist helps you save time and money. Features are too simple. Need to add some virality component to it.
