Roast my landing page: Homescope

Hello Caleb!
I visited your website. Overall, it looks great - nice colors and the fonts match with each other perfectly. It has a modern look for sure. I scrolled through the other parts of the page, and those were decent too. You have a blog too, which is a good thing to have, because anyone who visits the page can get some further information about the product - and look into other parts of it. It is responsive too and that is, of course, really important.

There are some things that I noticed and I grouped them into two sections: Product, Web development.

Product:
Humans have low attention span, they need something to be interested in. I think (or for me personally) a 33-second video will not get my attention, rather I get bored because I don't even know what you are doing. What are you clicking in the video, what should I focus on, what does it calculate - what is this? I only got a video to view the features of this extension, I need more than that.
Pictures with text are good to represent your product. Put a few sections of these. Show parts of the product and describe what it is good for, or what feature it is. I can simply scroll down and view the images and explanations to get information about the product.
You can put the video after those mentioned sections.
A good idea would be to have a small demo, so I can interact with it and play with it however I want to. Maybe that would get my interest.

Web development:

• From phone the section How does Homescope help you? has some problems. The Rent Estimation block has no upper padding, so the icon is directly under the border, and also the right border is still visible, which looks bad.
• I think the ✅ emojis are bad. You can use emojis if you don't overuse them, and you have maybe 1-2 on a page, but because it is kind of a major part of this section, it is not a good practice. Emojis are different on platforms, instead use real check mark icons.
• I think that there are too many animations. I almost get sick because there are so many. It is good to have animations, but you can overuse them too. There is a media query related to this: prefers-reduced-motion. By this you can check if somebody is sensitive to animations (and has a feature turned on in the browser) and show less or slower animations.
• There are some browsers which have a custom dark mode. It modifies the colors on a website in order to have a dark mode there too. Your icons in section How does Homescope help you? have background. I advise you to change those images to png (or better: svg), and set a black background like that, because if they initially have a background, then the browser cannot modify its color.
