Roast my landing page, please!

https://getcate.ai

I've been working tirelessly on a project that I'm super excited about - getcate.ai, a voice-enabled AI assistant for restaurants. It's up and running, but now, I need your help.

I've crafted a landing page for getcate.ai and I want to make sure it hits the right note. So, here'

it's not too bad structurally...but here are a few areas to consider. Size of the picture in the hero section. Spacing issue toward the bottom...and words could go a bit higher at the top.

its really cool. even i wud say logo is quite large. . i wud do a text logo not a icon maybe.. simply cate...:D

the logo is wayyyyyy to large and stands out too much of the navbar. reduce the width and height.

The design looks really professional, but I would love if the first graphic we see is a bit more clear. At first glance, I got the impression of Cate being more an analytics-type product than an automated phone answering one. I think it'd be cool if there was an animated simulation of a phone call that showed how Cate can answer customer questions (similar in a way to the middle image you have on your "Boost revenue and improve customer service" section.

You probably want to remove "***Screenshots" from your "relentless support" section. Also the 3 feature boxes feel pretty verbose.

Still learning about landing pages myself, but those were my first impressions.

thanks for taking time. I absolutely appreciate it. I think I agree on the image in the hero section which definitely gives a look like an analytic website rather than a virtual phone assistant.

I like the landing page, it's nice.

The things I will say are:
When I click on the properties from the menu on mobile, it comes to that area, but it does not appear because the menu remains open, so when I click it, the menu should close and slide down.

In addition, the footer part can be improved, you have not added social media links, by the way, it would be great if you add them and add other links that should be.

    Good job!

Do you have any plans for connected pos systems, payment processors? If so I would mention these. A potential customer (restaurant owner or manager) may not be as compelled to try if their existing payment processor is different from "square" as shown in the demo.

Yes, we currently have the integration with Square but we are integrating other POS solutions like Toast, Revel, and other major vendors. As we start acquiring customers, we will get them onboarded. This is like a basic MVP, to be honest, so don't want to solve for everything in the beginning but prove they are going to pay. But it's definitely a good point you raised, mentioning the POS systems that we integrate with will make the restaurant owners decide quickly, people definitely hate to change their workflow :)

I love the message “Make every call count.”

I think it would be beneficial to create a section after your hero section that defines the problem that your ideal customer is facing. Right now the landing page explores the solution and features of your product. Having a section that explores the pain points of your customer will create more curiosity to your potential customers to discover how your product solves their pain.

The structure in terms of speed and accessibility are good. Pay close attention to mobile aspect ratios, spacing, image sizes, and a few other details that will improve even further. As for the content and proposal of the tool, it would be interesting to make it very clear to whom the target audience will be. Would it be for a niche or would it be for a wider audience. Try to speak the same language as your audience and what the tool may be relevant to them, because then your audience will quickly see that this is the solution they need.

Congratulations on completing the LP! 🎉

This is indeed an exciting project :)

    1. Can it handle multiple calls at the same time on the same number?

    2. How do you feel about creating tutorial and conversation videos if the prototype is ready?

    3. Is it only for restaurants?

    4. May be increasing the font

    5. Perhaps slightly increasing the font-size of the menu, headings and paragraphs after the hero section will improve the readability.

    6. Also, an attractive primary button might enhance user interaction.

    All the best 👍

Thanks, yeah good questions and feedback. All noted. I will answer some questions here just for clarity but I will update the LP too.

      1. Yes, it can handle multiple calls at the same time on the same number reducing the wait times and enabling faster order processing.
      2. Yes, we have a fully working prototype with one of the menus from a local restaurant, I am planning to add an audio clip.
      3. Yes, for now, we want to make this work for restaurants for now and then repurpose the same tech for other industries. Square integration is fully completed as of today, so it's easy for us to plug into the appointment bookings too for saloons, etc
4, 5. Yep, the font is too small. I agree
      4. Perfect!

Overall the look is nice. I am surprised that you don't mention restaurants explicitly, except in the page title and much lower on the page. You refer to "businesses", so perhaps you want a broader customer base - but be careful with that!

I would want to hear a sample conversation between a customer and the AI voice assistant.

It's not really clear to me what the product is? I understand what it achieves, but not how it works. How do I integrate it with my phone? Will it work with landlines?

The value proposition is clear. Nice job there.

You are spot on. I think it totally makes sense to narrate explicitly who this is for. Thanks for the inputs :)
