I wont actually get offended, just kidding, that is not how you treat business unless you a sh*t face. Roast my site truthfully even if it is not good feedback: https://obeatow.com
Always accept criticism and dont be an idiot. especially if you run a business,
I think I have already reviewed this before, but I don't mind doing it again.
The logo looks like an old Nintendo controller. No idea what else it could be. The name of the product sounds entirely foreign to me. Perhaps something from Africa. I cannot see how either the logo or the name have anything to do with support or bug management. To me, the name seems like you just looked for the shortest possible available dot com domain name and when you found "obeatow", you just ran with that. A decision, that I don't really understand. I cannot get over how odd the name sounds like.
The over the fold area is rather clear as to what your product does. And I like how clearly you display the screenshot of the app, but the app itself looks a bit sad. That main area of the app with only numbers like "Feedback: 2" etc. should have visualization of the data, not just numbers, in my opinion.
The list of logos in the "trusted by some of the leading companies" look visually rather bad, because the logos are all pixelated and poor quality. Nothing makes your product look cheaper and poor quality than the use of pixelated graphics.
I like the graphics in the next section. They add some color to the design.
But color is again lacking when you start to show screenshots of your product again.
In the integration section, your logo looks even more pixelated and poor quality and everything is tilted awkwardly. Even the plus symbol is rotated for no good reason.
The Copyright year says 2022. For many users, this is a telltale sign that this product is abandoned and no longer being developed.
After browsing through the main landing page, I get a general idea what this product is, but not really exactly. It sounds like this is a support ticketing tool, or a bug reporting tool, but I'm not exactly sure which, exactly.
Many of the links in the footer navigation bar don't work.
The landing page has a chatbox thing, so I asked the Obeatow bot "What is Obeatow?" as an attempt to try to understand what your product is, and the bot just refused to answer my question. All it said was "Don’t have time to wait for a response? Leave your email and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible." - which wasn't helpful at all. If you have a chat in your website, it should provide some value to the user. This one didn't.
Hi @jv16,
The problem now is Google no longer seems to show the number of results, So now I don't know if the name is good or not as if I use a "quick generic" name, you get millions of results, not less than ten thousand.
As far as data visualization, should I just go ahead and throw some Google Charts in there, like maybe a pie chart split in half showing the number of feedback and bug submissions.
I'm still trying to figure out what to do about the pixelation. I dont know if I should just fiddle around until I have some better graphics or what ever else.
What would make the color not lack? I dont see any lack of color when I look at it.
I tilted everything on purpose as I thought it would look interesting.
I'm aware of that. Need to go in and fix that. Good catch.
It adds a widget to your site through a tracking code where users can submit visual (annotated) feedback and bugs submissions. You see screenshot with visualizations
Still need to add pages.
I wasnt active on the chat. I saw it later, but since you werent active, there was no use sending anything as no email was added.
"Obeatow" is unique, for sure, but in a way every small rock is unique. Just being unique doesn't mean it's necessarily good.
You should hire a designer. A designer could improve the way your landing page looks without breaking your bank.
The reason I haven't hired a designer is because I am trying to get it to look a very exact way and wont the graphics to look an exact way. That sounds like that would be too much stress on a designer and it may not (if even at all) turn out exactly what I want.
The previous landing page I had 4-5 months ago got terrible feedback. Instead of focusing on the screenshots, I had these graphics:

Note I no longer offer form capturing as it didnt work as intended. I continue to offer bug and feedback solution.
Ya i would never use that product
