https://allquiet.app/pagerduty-alternative
This is a very specific landing page which is targeting google searches for "pagerduty alternatives".
This is one of the direct competitors of All Quiet.
I specifically think the landing page might be too noisy.
On the other hand I want to show the video to demonstrate how the app works.
I look forward for your feedback ☺️
Jumping in here late:
I love what you're building, I think there's a great opportunity/hunger for PD competitors right now.
The cookie pop-up over the whole page is a real turn-off, would love to see that as a toast notification along the bottom of the viewport.
I'm curious how well this page has been working for you? Can you share any updates?
to me it seems like a problem that the main headline on the page has the name of the competition rather than yours. So maybe a headline that directly states the benefit, then a subhead that says something like "The No-Fuss, Less-Cost Alternative"
I also think the body copy needs to be made more concise. So, maybe:
Here's the clean, simple way to manage alerts and notifications. Escalation management is drag and drop. A unified channel for easy visibility.
And pricing? Unlimited everything for $4.99 per user per month.
I think you need some kind of graphs. When you add a lot of information and text people tend to not read it.
Some images can help and of course white space.
I think you could utilize whitespace more. And you should fix the levitating cookie notification and center the content in the middle.
It does not set in the middle of my desktop
I think it has great potential! I would probably try to swap the text at the bottom with the comparison table so the flow would look like:
You might also want to play around with that video, I can hardly see its content even on my 4k screen. Maybe try converting it to a GIF so you can control the quality or recreating it to zoom in and focus on the content?
Personally I'd skip the video all together and just show the incident detail screenshot clearly
Thanks JustRefactor. I agree that it's hard to see the content. I need to play around with different formats to make it great. Not that easy actually :D
Overall, looking good. Could simplify your color and font selection for better focus. Also, the smartphone screen demo partially covers the subtitle "All Quiet vs PagerDuty" (the "PagerDuty" portion) - you may want to adjust your grid.
Share2Learn, thank you so much for the feedback. I reduced the font variations and adjusted the video's position. It was actually intended to "hover" a little bit over the subtitle. But it looks more like an error than an actual design decision :D
Yes, too noisy. Too many different fonts, emojis, and colours.
Stick to a palette and be minimalistic. Focus on the value prop and CTAs. Here’s a good case study: https://youtu.be/9IH3ZoM9aPg and here are loads of templates built in Tailwind, in case you use that: https://tailkits.com/
I really like the active demo video though, nice touch.
Thanks for the feedback Santiago - I reduced the fonts and emojis. I thinks it's a bit calmer now.
