Roast My Open Source Project: XposedOrNot (XON) – Your Shield Against Data Breaches

Hey IndieHackers!

I'm a solo indie hacker dedicated to open source. Introducing XposedOrNot (XON), my passion project in data security. I'm here for a reality check – I need your raw, honest feedback. Ready to roast?

Introducing XposedOrNot (XON):

XposedOrNot is all about alerting users to potential data breaches. It's a tool for public good, born from my interest in forensics and breach analysis, aimed at increasing awareness and prevention.

XON in Two Parts:

  1. The XON Website: Simplicity meets power. Users interact with our robust API in a user-friendly way. Features:

    • Real-time Breach Checks
    • User-Friendly Interface
    • Data Breach Notifications and Detailed Reports
    • Community Engagement
  2. The XON API: The core, monitoring data breaches. Open-source, transparent, and the first for real-time breach alerts.

What's in It for You?

  • Developers/Product Owners: Use our API to check customer data breach status and act accordingly.
  • Password Safety: Our Passwords API validates breached passwords, aligning with NIST 800 standards.

Why XON Matters?

  • Open-Source Pioneer: More than a tool, a community-driven solution.
  • Rich Insights: Beyond basic alerts, we provide in-depth data.
  • For Everyone: From individual email security to corporate domain management.

Join Our Hackathon!

Exciting news! I've launched a hackathon and we're inviting all of you to participate. Whether you're a coder, a designer, or just someone with great ideas, we'd love to see what you can bring to XON.
