Hello,
I would appreciate some feedback on my new SaaS website. Please don't hesitate to roast!
Looking forward to it! Thank you all.
Not sure how to put this but your ratings and testimonials seem... fake?
In the ratings section, you have "Join 999+ happy customers" which seems 1. massive and 2. a suspicious number. The little face images also look like stock images that I've seen before — https://unsplash.com/photos/mEZ3PoFGs_k.
The testimonials also seem pretty generic, from 3 generic-sounding people with generic-sounding titles.
I'm not going to comment on the ethics of (potentially) fake testimonials because I'm sure lots of people do it.
Regardless of their validity, I recommend you tweak things a little bit though to make them (seem) a bit more authentic.
Why didn't you try the product out? It’s literally free. If I were to remove the testimonials, would you then try the product, or would you have something else to say about that? I don't know, man. I really don't feel like this is that important. When I didn't have any testimonials at all, everyone told me to add some. Now you're telling me to remove them. I'd love to know what really made you decide not to sign up and try the product out. Thanks.
Hey. I get that it's hard when you're starting out from 0. How can you get testimonials when you have 0 users? You can't.
You asked for feedback and I've given you some. Do with it what you will.
I didn't try the product because you asked for a landing page feedback, not product feedback. And speaking to me like that doesn't really make me want to try it.
Good luck with your SaaS
I appreciate your candid feedback and I understand your point of view. The tone of my previous response may have been off and I apologize if it came off as defensive. You're right in pointing out the potential issues with our testimonials and user count, and it's something we'll take into serious consideration.
We're in the early stages of our venture and there's still a lot we're learning. We definitely do not want to mislead anyone, and our main goal is to create a product that brings value to our customers.
We requested feedback on the landing page, yes, but our ultimate aim is to encourage users like yourself to try our product. It's clear we need to work on our presentation and how we come across to potential users. Your feedback will play a crucial role in how we move forward with these improvements.
Again, I apologize if my previous response upset you. We hope to have the opportunity to provide a better impression in the future. Thanks again for your time and feedback.
Looks really cool!
Hey, thank you so much.
I think the website looks dope. But things I would improve
The design is clean and clear! One thing I'd suggest is that instead of saying "The most modern email collection solution" at the header, you can describe your specific value to customers here. For example: "Collecting and managing emails can be simple".
Hey, it would mean the world to me if you guys could check the website now, I've changed and added some things :)
Great job! I think the message is much more clear now. One subtle suggestion you might consider: The picture in the hero section shows the value of the product which is great, but I suggest another picture to show how simple it is to use your product which echoes your tagline.
I agree! The design looks great, but it’s not super clear to me what “the most modern” is supposed to mean or why it is a something I’d want.
looks pretty clean to my eye!
Looks cool!
It's a bit slow. What tech stack are you using for this?
Thank you. I'm not sure why it's slow for you, as most people here have said it's very fast.
For the frontend, I used Next.js, and for the backend, I used Node.js. Mongo was used for the database.
Looks good - you need to replace the variable in your terms of service though :)
What do you mean?
In your mailchest integration it says "Your App Here" - looks like the placeholder is still there
It's intended. It's there to let you know where your app's name will be displayed.
Great design and I really appreciate this minimalism. A bit too much words though? It doesn't match this elegant pure vibe of your webiste.
maybe second section could have just that:
"Mailchest simplifies the entire process of gathering and managing emails. We take care of it so you don't have to."
I ran it also through ChatGPT to explain in its words what you do based on inprompted website content. Just food for thought and other perspective.

I love the design! Like others have mentioned, it took me a minute to figure out what the product is; I had to scroll and read the entire page. One concrete way to improve that would be to replace the generic heading "We know what you're going through" with something more specific to your product. That phrase doesn't really add to your message, and it takes up a lot of space on the page.
Looks super interesting! Great work!
I would add some testimonials, Product Video and explanations.
Otherwise good work!
Very nice; Just as some feedback, I use Emailoctopus who offer 2500 emails and automation for free. I would switch without question if you were to offer more emails per user.
On the website side of things maybe add some testimonials? I love the three code blocks, really got my attention. Your hero image was a little bit less clear. I got the gist of the product only at the bottom. So I would recommend changing the hero or moving the bottom section up slightly.
Would love to hear your thoughts on my page: www.qanda.design
Good work!
A few things:
Otherwise, looks pretty good!
Two points should be raised.
rest of the landing page is ok.
To me it is unclear what the product does when I look at the top section. I would in addition to the image you have there also add a image of the third image you have below of the pop-up where web visitors type in their name.
I would highlight in sub text in first section something inline with - Collect email adress of your users and analyse their behavours
High lights analytics tool more. Probably divide the steps so each one get a seperate row (image left, text on tight)
3a. Install the plugin in minutes + desccription
3b. Collect email adresses + desicrption, snip of survey
3c. Analyse your users behaviour - description. What analytics tools are there? What can it analyse - users by country? Sign-ups? Anything more?
ok
I think the gradients are not necessary. A simple white-like bg would be even more simpler and elegant
Firstly, your opener title is too large, causing your call-to-action to not be displayed properly. I suggest reducing the font size of the title slightly.
Secondly, your page contains excessive text. Try to convey your value proposition using fewer words.
Lastly, your "WHY" is not crystal clear. You need to provide a compelling reason for visitors to understand why they need your solution. Testimonials can be helpful in achieving this.
Good luck with your website improvements!
Seems to me that without signing up you cannot understand how the product works?
Congratulations on launching your website!
I feel the text to the right, next to the We know what you're going through is more, if you can make it more crisp and easy to understand.
The button behavior on hover can be changed, as only the arrow moves when you hover over the button, it would be nice if the text is underlined like the other menu links on the page.
Congrats on the launch!
I like design!
I've added some suggestions here - https://visualdebug.com/show/mailchest.app
Really nice and short. Good design.
The homepage doesn't have enough content for most readers though I would say.
You also need social proof.
Hi Idan! The design is super clean across different pages. The CTAs are clear an well-designed, really stand out. I'd change or review the design of the last section with those code snippets and its description. Maybe align the text to the left and make it bigger. We just also launched our SaaS website so you're welcome to review our design as well (:

Hi there,
This is Deluar, Marketing Representative at UIHUT B2B Design Market. I can give you some feedback on your website based on the information I found in my research.
First of all, I like the idea of your product. It seems like a useful tool for SaaS founders who want to validate their ideas and grow their audience. Your website is simple and clear, and it explains the benefits of your product well.
However, I also have some suggestions for improvement:
• Your website could use some testimonials or social proof from your existing customers. This would help build trust and credibility for your product. You could also add some logos of the platforms or tools that you integrate with, such as Mailchimp, Zapier, etc.
• Your pricing page could be more transparent and detailed. You could explain what features are included in each plan, and how they differ from each other. You could also add a FAQ section to answer some common questions that your potential customers might have.
• Your website could have a blog or a newsletter where you share valuable content related to SaaS validation, email marketing, user research, etc. This would help you establish yourself as an authority in your niche and attract more visitors to your website.
Overall, I think you have a great product and a good website, but there is always room for improvement. I hope you find my feedback helpful and constructive.
Best of luck with your SaaS!
I do not want to be impolite, but
reading your domain / website name the first thing coming into my mind was a body part and I was wondering about the connection between breasts and mail.
the dominating, somehow unrelated, big yellow and red colored dots on your pricing signal a stop traffic light. Message of the colors is somehow: "Stop...are you sure you really wanna buy this?"
Hope that helps also.
I've never heard of someone who thought that the "chest" in Mailchest referred to a body part. A "chest" can also refer to a box, so the entire concept is about collecting emails and storing them in a chest.
As for the colors, I will certainly make some changes.
Thank you.
Honestly, after reading the first half of your page, I do not understand what the product is and what problem you are trying to solve.
After reading the second half, I have a little bit more of an idea, but still confused. Are you just an email sign up widget? Where do the emails go, into a service like Mailchimp? Or your gmail? Or are you a mailing list service?
"We know what you're going through." What am I going through? Maybe you should explain what the problem is, and how your product solves the problem.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
My product assists you in validating an idea. Consider this - when you have a concept for a SaaS business and want to initiate it, it's not advisable to plunge in and start working on it immediately. This approach could end up wasting precious time. Normally, it's best to validate your idea before you start its development.
So, what's the most efficient way to validate an idea? By collecting emails. Mailchest is, in essence, a minimalist version of Mailchimp. You can use it to effortlessly incorporate an email collector form into your landing page or any other website with 2 lines of code that you directly copy from the dashboard. This enables you to begin collecting emails and customer analytics right away.
I would recommend signing up and testing Mailchest. It's extremely user-friendly, and there's a free plan available. I'm confident that you'll recognize its value as soon as you log into the dashboard. If you have any other queries, please do not hesitate to let me know!
Thanks for taking the time to clarify. I think emails is a useful indicator of interest, but not necessarily proof of validation. Still, I think your landing page should be more clear that this is an email signup tool/widget and not an ESP. Also, I would like to know whether the emails can be exported to an ESP like Mailchimp later when I need to start sending emails to those signups. Hope this feedback helps, and good luck!
I really like the choice of colors and the radial gradient effect at the top of the page. Cool font, font size and buttons are neat.
I tried my best to find defects, and to me they are:
I'm maybe exaggerating but I see it a bit as a change of ToV. At the beginning you sound laid back but self-aware of the great value your tool delivers, but then you're "yelling" that you offer something that is now becoming the new standard.
Cool project, good luck!
Thank you so much! Honestly, I felt the same way about the “!”, will remove it now!
Thanks for the heads up.
