Hey there, I just launched my first ever SaaS as part of a challenge I'm currently doing on Twitter (10 projects in 10 weeks – And yes, I'm already behind 😂). I just want to collect feedback on the landing page here as I plan a separate launch post regarding the purpose/applications of the actual product. 🙃
I built this complete project in about a week. But then I had some major struggles with bringing the Twitter API in harmony with Supabase (BaaS) which cost me several more days, unfortunately. – But now the MVP should work as expected.
The landing page itself I build in about 1–2 days. And as you might have guessed, it's built with Tailwind. Which of course means: It's not very exceptional and looks probably like a lot of landing pages out there. What I want to know is:
Hey Dennis! I'll tell you what I think (from the mobile view because most people will see that):
Finally, I just wanna mention that everybody should check out this guide for landing pages, one of the top posts from IH: www.indiehackers.com/post/my-step-by-step-guide-to-landing-pages-that-convert-9daefb2064
I truly wish you the best mate!
Great points!
I agree, the second graphic which explains how the product works is great. I think a smaller version of that would be better as the main graphic (replace the people on like button image).
+1 for clean design
Also awesome guide for landing pages, hadn't seen it before!
Thanks for the compliment and feedback, GalacticLeopard 🙃
Thanks Lloret, as always. I really appreciate your feedback. 🚀
I'll definitely think about the wording, that's a great hint. I now changed it to:
"A profitable way to share on Twitter"
➡️ "Share exclusive content with your followers"
"Share valuable content and grow your follower base in return."
➡️ "Create value and get followed on Twitter in return"
What do you think?
I also thought about moving the explanatory graphic to the top, but I'm not fully satisfied with its look yet, so maybe I'll wait until I made it a bit more "popping" :D
My pleasure!
I really like it, the value you are giving is very clear that way.
Regarding the position of the explanatory graphic I must say that in the desktop view it's true it looks pretty good the way it is now.
Hi Dennis,
Thanks for the feedback, teja 👍
You are right, with the pricing point. I made it more clear now, that the features that are currently available will stay free forever! (Maybe at a future point I'll add additional premium features though)
I love this thing! You force an exchange between something of value and a simple follow which most people consider as nearly zero value to give out. Its a "get something for nearly nothing" machine. Okay like other's pointed out the problem is right here: "Share exclusive content with your followers" what you really offer is "Share exclusive content
in exchange for guaranteed followers"
The logo is so generic you should either ditch it or commit to a real one - yeah I get it - what image conveys what this does? tricky...
Thought about the explainer graphic - under the person with the stuff to share (files, coupons, links) maybe show a closed lock or a red X, repeat the three items under the followers on the right showing it unlocked or with a green check.
Consider Monetizing it thusly: a user gets the first link or two from you for free - they see the value - they have a cool tweet that offers something of value that's hot enough for someone to click follow in order to get it - they end up with 10-100-1000 followers or whatever where in the past they would have gained 5 - instant addiction occurs - then you sell a 10 pack of links for $19.95 - the user needs to be able to track the ones he has used but that could just be a checkmark is a user portal, let them recycle them, whatever - avoid complexity here like the plague. You could even just send them ten links and tell them to keep their own records to start. The full blast would be a real pro dashboard, another $20/year for pro access but lifetime use of the links at about $2 each (or whatever, $10 each?)
Alternate pricing - $2/link for 500 uses, $5/link for unlimited/lifetime - sold in packs. Price based on the number of links X either number of followers/uses or duration of link - add upsell steps.
I am going to email you something about this as well..
just answered :) thanks for all your engagement, dean
thank you so much for your compliments and feedback! looking forward to your mail (you can also twitter dm me) 🙃
Hi, @dennis_zoma!
From the standpoint of conveying what your SaaS offers I think your website is pretty clear.
Would I sign up? I don't know. For example, I would like to know how easy is it to disconnect my account if I'm not satisfied.
I do like the design, it works, but as you've said it's reminiscent of many other landing pages. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. For some people it can communicate trustworthiness I think.
One last thing, that arrow at the bottom pointing at "Create Free Account" button seems a bit distorted/stretched, I don't know why.
All in all, I like it!
Thanks for the feedback mkrunic.
I like the design and will signup
wow, thanks for the compliments and for planning to sign up, praveentiwari :)
Hey Dennis,
I don't understand what the product does? The functionality isn't clear for me. The value proposition is great, but how does your product deliver the value isn't clear.
Cheers, Dimi
Thanks for that feedback, Dimi. (This is really important for me!)
TBH you are the second person telling me that and I'm wondering what I could do to explain it better.
The idea behind the tool is: if a creator (e.g. you) wants to share something super valuable or „bonus content“ (lets say a tiny ebook or an airtable) he can share this only with those people who actually follow him/her. Than he shares the http://FollowShare.xyz Link, they have to authenticate & follow and can then access the content.
Do you now understand it? Can you help me improving it on the landing page?
Thanks!
Yes, I understand it now. I would suggest you include this short passage somewhere below the main value proposition. See how it works. A video would be even much better. Just a short video of how it works 30 sec. or so. It would solve all the problems immediately.
A video is a great idea! Will put that on my todo list :) Thanks!
