haha, yeah it is a bit Apple-y.
I've revamped the site from the ground up. Taking your feedback into consideration. I think the copy could still use some love, but hopefully it's a bit clearer now.
If you have a min, would you mind checking out the update, and giving your opinion? Is it clearer what the app offers?

It's definitely better! The scroll kind of lags (on Chrome), which may be because it's heavy on images.
If you want to spice up the copy, hit me up! Also, are you guys launching on Andoid? I love some of the features!

Cross-platform will do it for me. And get my self an iPhone. And yes, I do - https://briefercopy.com/ kind of simple, but I do let the copy do its work. I mean, it's a copywriting shop after all. :) Shoot me an email, and we can come up with something good.

Hey Jack, I quite like the motion on your page, it's cool!
There are some copy issues though that, unfortunately, jeopardize the credibility -> "Unlock lock your full potential with a great morning".
I would also say your visuals are not consistent in style so it's hard to know who you're targeting. From your colour palette, I get a feeling that it's an app for men but then there are women's pictures. I'm not too sure. I don't mean to say you have to target one or the other, actually, you probably shouldn't be exclusive there, but it's unclear.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I meant to reply sooner, but wanted to finish updating the site before commenting.
Our target demo is founders/ people in the start up space. Which skews male, but we are appealing to both. I did update that section though, so emphasize male workouts.
Thanks for catching that typo before (embarrassing!). I think the copy could still use some love, but hopefully it's clearer now.

Hi Jack, the copy's clearer, well done. There's just one last typo that I spotted: "Whether you're a n00b or pro, these short meditiatons".
Another thing about the copy, you mention a lot of habits of successful entrepreneurs, professional workouts and proven meditation exercises etc... it'd be great to have some kind of validation of those statements. Like there's the "Calm" logo, do you have an API with Calm? We need to understand what the app offers exactly.
I still think the imagery is inconsistent in terms of style. I could be wrong, but why don't you give it a shot having all the same sizes of image if you can't have the same style?
Is your colour palette final? It's a good thing to not just replicate what other apps are doing, but this black doesn't allow me to think "oh it's a workout app".
One last thing, if you really don't want to exclude women from your target, mix up the men / women images slightly better because the first ones we see are just men. I'm part of so many women entrepreneurs groups and trust me, that wouldn't work with them (us).

To answer your questions:
is it clear? Website looks great - I liked how it told the story and I like the minimalist UI of the app. First impression was that it is a checklist app. After looking further it looks like there is some curation happening to provide optimal services to users (which sounds cool) but would like to see more of the apps differentiators up front.
Do you want to try the product? no and heres why. Firstly, I'm not a big app person - I don't have many on my phone (so I am a hard sell here anyway). From what I can glean from the site (and I might be wrong) it looks like a checklist app - what I would like to understand is how will Magic create a morning routine for me? How will it keep me committed? It looks like everyones morning will be working/breakfast/get ready/journal/meditate (which is a great routine but not ideal for everyone). Is there a way to track progress? How do the channels work? Can I customize my routine?
Looks like a great app but would like to see more on display.

Really appreciate the fact that you took my feedback into consideration. From the looks of things I would say you've made big strides in the right direction! I really appreciate the 'a morning routine made for you section' it made things alot clearer. Using the imagery of prominent figures was also great! Overall I feel like I have better picture of what Magic has to offer and the flow of things makes alot more sense (starting high level value prop and drilling down into the details).
